Katy Perry Shares Update On Daughter Daisy Dove, They Have Something… Interesting In Common

New mom Katy Perry is sharing some milestones that her daughter Daisy Dove, 9 months has experienced through the pandemic. “She’s crawling and she has one tooth,” shared the singer with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest. The celebrity judge elaborated about Daisy’s tooth noting that it’s “barely poked through though.” however that didn’t sop her from seeing the similarity it had to her own teeth. “It’s kind of like one of my teeth.,” said the 36-year-old “I have pretty good teeth on the top, but if you were to actually see my bottom teeth, they’re a little interesting, but I think that’s character!”

So, it looks like little Daisy is taking after her mom already. It will be interesting to see what she takes after daddy. Perry is engaged to Orlando Bloom with whom she shares Daisy with. The couple were pretty hush hush about the pregnancy but were loud and proud when they announced the arrival of heir daughter back in August 2020. “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” shared the entertainers in a joint statement on the UNICEF Instagram account.

As Goodwill Ambassadors for the charity, the couple encouraged fans to donate to the non-profit in honor of Daisy Dove’s birth. Their relationship has progressed quietly as they both keep it on the down-low but since the announcement of Perry’s pregnancy, they have been more forthcoming and more affectionate in public. As a new mom, Perry has been having an interesting time adjusting to motherhood she jokingly shared on Live With Kelly & Ryan that motherhood has taught her “what women do” as mothers and career people.

The American Idol also shared that she started filming the new season of the competition show just a short five weeks after giving birth. “It wasn’t planned that way,” she confessed but what in motherhood ever goes according to plan? She is having to tackle a “Virgo baby” who “thrives on routine”, breastfeeding and filming a reality TV show and that was all within the first few months of baby Daisy’s life. Perry’s next move is a Las Vegas residency.

“I'm a working mom!” and that means some adjustments are required but Perry assured her fans that her residency appropriately titled PLAY and will be held at The Theatre At Resorts World Las Vegas opening this summer, will still be the level of perfection she offered pre-mom life. “I just wanted to remind people the kind of level that I always aim for when it comes to live shows and it's always, you know, you're going to buy a ticket and get your moneys worth,” she stated confidently. Maybe Daisy Dove will get to attend a show or two and see mommy in her element.
