Jillian Michaels is doubling down on now-viral weight comments she made about singer Lizzo back in January 2020. "The Biggest Loser" coach, 47, now seemingly regrets bringing up the "Juice" hit-maker's weight in obesity comments, but she isn't backing down as she continues to criticize being overweight. Jillian is now front-page news for addressing the massive social media storm her comments sparked last year, also saying she wishes 33-year-old Lizzo wasn't caught up in the cross-fire. Check out the drama below.

Scroll for photos. "I’ve never once actually brought her up, she has been brought up to me," Michaels told Carlos Watson. The reality star and celebrity-adored trainer added: "I would like to separate her from the issue, if at all possible. And I should have done that the first time I was asked. I should have said, 'Let's separate an individual from a conversation about health.' And that is where I genuinely went wrong."

Lizzo, who remains body-positive, was first mentioned last year as Jillian spoke on Buzzfeed's "AM to DM" show.

Admitting wrong-doing, but not much, Michaels concluded: "That is literally the only place I will tell you that I went wrong."

Last year, Lizzo wound up front-page news as Michaels told Buzzfeed: “Why are we celebrating her body? Why does it matter? Why aren't we celebrating her music? ‘Cause it isn’t going to be awesome if she gets diabetes."

"I love her music, my kid loves her music, but there’s never a moment when I’m like, ‘I’m so glad she’s overweight.’ Why do I even care? Why is it my job to care about her weight?” she'd added. More photos below.

Lizzo, whose Instagram handle is @lizzobeeating, has, many a time, taken to social media to seemingly both celebrate her weight and joke about it. The curvy star, who has also made headlines for going on a 10-day and smoothie-based cleanse, has updated scantily-clad to joke about having "thunder thighs," but the vibe is largely one of embracement.

Speaking last month about body-shaming on TikTok, the Grammy winner revealed: “I just wanted to say I’ve seen a few of these videos about, you know, fat girls who eat healthy and stay active but can’t seem to lose weight." See the rest below.

Lizzo added: "I think these kinds of videos are important, whether they intend to lose weight or don’t want to lose weight, just to show that every single body is different and how it functions is different."

Lizzo was also quick to slam the "fake doctors" that "bother" her, stating: "What really bothers me are the fake doctors in the comments saying ‘oh, you have this’ or ‘you might have this condition.’ No. What if I’m just fat? What if this is just my body?"
