According to some sources, after Diana gave birth to Prince Williams, she suffered postpartum depression.
“You’d wake up in the morning feeling you didn’t want to get out of bed, you felt misunderstood, and just very, very low in yourself,” she told “BBC.”
The Princess also said her family thought she was mentally unstable at the time. The royal household has the tradition of remaining silent to emotional issues, which Princess Diana hated.
“Well maybe I was the first person ever to be in this family who ever had a depression or was ever openly tearful. And obviously that was daunting, because if you’ve never seen it before how do you support it?” she explained.
Royal Author Claims Diana’s Anger Was Intense

According to a royal author, Princess Diana always felt her emotion deeply, and expressed it accordingly.
The royal Biographer Lady Colin Campbell alleged in a book titled “Meghan and Harry :The Real Story” that Princess Diana would “scream the house down” anytime she was upset.
“When she was spoiling for a fight, she made sure she got one and that everyone knew about it,” the author said.
“She would scream the house down. She would be on the rampage for hours. She would hurl abuse and objects and always reduce herself to tears of frustration and hysteria.”
