For those who may be unfamiliar with the situation, Megan Thee Stallion and NBA champion Klay Thompson seemingly confirmed their relationship late last week after both superstars shared images of the other (without directly tagging them) on their Instagram accounts.

In Meg's post, Thompson, 35, is seen relaxing in the background on a beach chair, while in Thompson's picture, only Meg's backside is visible as she faces away from the camera, showing off her signature curls.

The positive reaction to Meg and Thompson becoming Instagram official was widespread across social media, with many users joking about how Thompson has managed to get so lucky throughout his life.

Megan Thee Stallion's new relationship with Thompson has also resurfaced some of the rapper's previous comments about men.

Specifically, in one interview from 2021, the "Hot Girl Summer" performer opened up about making men "uncomfortable" with her lyrics, adding, "that's my job."

"When you're a woman who's not a threat, men don't really bother you [...] men like that damsel in distress type of role, and that's not me. I feel like that's what kind of gets under a lot of men's skin," she said.

She further stated that she doesn't consider herself to be a "normal" woman and didn't mind if her personality offended people.

"Baby, look the other way. You can't stop looking the other way, because you like what you see and you hate that you like what you see," she continued. "That's why you hate it, that's why you go through all these emotions and you're lashing out on me. So I'm not even mad at these men. They're emotionally ignorant. Once they come to grips with who they are, maybe they'll grow up."
