Kyle Richards Admits She Doesn't Know What 'Fox Force Five' Means

Kyle Richards is part of the "Fox Force Five," a group of five women from the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast, but according to a new report, she has no idea what the phrase actually means. 

During an interview with Access Hollywood at Kathy Hilton's home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 26, where her older sister was hosting a viewing party for the second episode of season 11, Richards looked back on a recent outing she had with the group, which also includes Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, and Teddi Mellencamp.

"We went out the other night. And people get annoyed by this but we call ourselves the 'Fox Force Five,'" Richards explained. "I don’t know what that means, by the way, which is probably embarrassing."

"I think it was season nine," she continued. "When the Malibu fires happened, [Camille Grammer] had to cancel, Denise Richards had to cancel, [Lisa Vanderpump] had stopped showing up so it ended up that it was just Rinna, Dorit, Erika, Teddi, and myself in Provence, France, so we really formed a bond during that trip."

According to Richards, her friendships with the other ladies runs much deeper than the show. 

"On camera, off camera we have a very tight bond. We definitely fight but we make up and we care about each other and we support each other," she shared, adding that Mellencamp is one of her "best friends in the world."

"And that doesn’t go away with a TV show or cameras," she explained.

"I convinced her and the truth is, we spend all most every day together so it made sense for her to show up," Richards explained. "I had to convince her and she showed up and she’s always a great addition because she speaks her mind and she doesn’t hold back. It’s always fun to have Teddi be a part of the show.”

When Richards was then asked if Mellencamp would ever return to the show full-time, she said she didn't know.

"I mean, she’s so busy doing All In," Richards noted.

Continuing on, Richards said that it makes sense for Mellencamp to return to the show because she's still friends with the rest of the women.

"Teddi’s not only close with me. She’s closest with me, of course, but she’s also close with Rinna and Erika and Dorit so you never know. Crazier things have happened so never say never," she teased.
