In August of last year, a fan on X reposted a snap of the actress in her low-cut pink dress, and her less-than-joyful expression didn't go unnoticed. While Sydney was in character and mid-scene, fans seemed to think that her image was from a photo shoot, with one asking why she looked "sad." Sydney is best known for her TV appearances in shows including The White Lotus and Euphoria, however with movies including Madame Web and Anyone But You, she's also a silver screen face.

Offsetting her tight bodice with a long-flowing skirt that concealed her legs, Sydney looked a vision in her pale pink look, channeling girly vibes while intimidating fans with her good looks. Wearing her light locks down and styled into soft waves, Sydney added warming makeup complete with foundation and blush, also sporting a rosy pink lip.

When fans commented on the X post, one wrote: "What a look." Another, however, asked: "Why" Sydney Sweeney was looking so "sad." Meanwhile, on Just Jared, where fans had been alerted to the fact that Sydney was shooting a scene, one user told the Armani Beauty ambassador not to "cry," adding a cry-face emoji.

"I grew up on the water, always running around in a bikini. If I wasn’t swimming in the lake or the ocean, I was skiing or attempting to surf. So there was always a part of me that wanted to create something that truly felt like me, and with Francesca [Aiello] and her incredible company, we really created something special," she revealed in 2023 while releasing more of her merchandise.
