Bella Hadid In Sheer Braless Minidress Asked Why She 'Bothered' With Clothes

Bella Hadid faced backlash for her ultra-revealing display while on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet last year. While the annual movie event has since put a "no nudity" rule into place, 2024 was still open season. Displaying her supermodel figure in a see-through minidress while going braless in May of last year, Bella left little to the imagination in her leggy number, one she wore to attend the premiere of The Apprentice. While some complimented the sister to Gigi Hadid, others felt she was showing too much. One fan even asked why Bella "bothered" getting dressed.

Flashing her braless chest as she went totally see-through, the Dior Beauty ambassador also highlighted her toned shoulders and slender waist, going stylish with ruched, silky fabrics that accentuated her slim waist and curvy hips. Rocking a halterneck that exposed her sculpted back and with knotted vertical embellishments down her midriff, Bella had definitely chosen a look designed to flaunt her catwalk queen body.

Bella added chocolate-brown heels in satin, completing her look with her dark hair worn down and styled into soft waves. Dazzling the cameras with her beauty, the Frankie's Bikinis collaborator sported plenty of flattering makeup, opting for tan eyeshadow, some brow definition, plus a matte lip. The photos were shared on Instagram by Just Jared, where fan replies proved mixed.

While one fan said that Bella Hadid looked "naked," another angrily wrote:

"Why bother putting anything on. Because it's plan to see she is not trying to cover anything up. I believe it is a Playboy premiere instead of her movie premiere. I'm not sorry for voicing my opinion, it is my legal right as an American citizen. But this is public nudity & by law is considered illegal. It is disgusting, distasteful, disgraceful & disrespectful to the female society." A third said they approved of Bella's dress, except for the fact that her chest was "out."

Fans proved more positive when Bella Hadid stepped out in London, U.K. in May. Modeling a body-hugging, slinky dress in silver, the stunner flaunted her cleavage via a low neckline, adding pointed-toe heels to coordinate with her floral-accented dress. Bella was in the British capital to promote her Orebella fragrance brand. May marked one year since the 2024 launch of Bella's brand. "She always dresses nicely," one fan replied as Just Jared posted the look. "Most beautiful woman in the world Bella," another gushed.
