Pregnant Rihanna Brings The Cutest Dates To The 'Smurfs' Premiere

Recently, Rihanna turned the “Smurfs” premiere into a rare family affair. The Grammy Award winner made the headlines as she stepped out for the event with her two sons, RZA and Riot.

Currently expecting her third child with A$AP Rocky, the singer’s maternity glow stole the show.

She embraced motherhood in full force, glowing with joy and pride as she held onto her little ones. The trio melted hearts as they shared laughs and giggles while posing for the cameras.

On Sunday, July 13, Rihanna graced the red carpet at the “Smurfs” premiere at Paramount Theater in Los Angeles.

She dazzled in a chocolate-brown ensemble featuring a lace-trimmed top, a ball gown-style skirt, and a matching leather jacket.

Her hair was pulled into a chic updo, and she finished off with a flawless face beat.

While Rihanna’s look was worth talking about, it wasn’t the only thing that left fans talking. The mom of two left fans in awe as she graced the event with the cutest dates, her sons RZA and Riot.

The two boys were all smiles themselves, looking sharp in little outfits as they walked alongside their mom.

At one moment, Rihanna, RZA, and Riot paused to greet Papa Smurf in person. It was an exciting moment for the toddlers, who beamed with happiness.

At the premiere, Rihanna spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the rigors of getting her sons dressed up in their cute outfits.

“Well it was getting them dressed and undressed, dressed and then undressed again because they wanted to eat, lay down, tumble,” she said.

Despite the stress, Rihanna revealed she was excited about her little ones joining her at the screening.

“I’m excited for tonight. Tonight is going to be fun. We get to watch the movie together for the first time. I get to watch it in its full completion. So, that should be interesting,” the songstress revealed per the Daily Mail.

Rihanna also opened up about RZA and Riot’s thoughts about having a younger sibling, noting that they felt “delighted.”

However, she refrained from spilling details about the child’s gender. “You’ll have to wait and see,” the “Diamonds” singer stated, adding that “she has always wanted a girl.”

A$AP Rocky was nowhere to be seen at the Los Angeles premiere, but he was front and center at the world debut in Brussels on June 28, where the couple posed in style.

For the event, Rihanna rocked a custom green Chanel outfit that accentuated her baby bump. The matching chiffon top and skirt featured embellishments with countless sequins, crystals, and feathers.

On the other hand, A$AP Rocky opted for a striped button-down shirt, trousers, a tie, and sunglasses.

At the premiere, fans believe the rapper may have revealed the baby’s gender in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“Is that the girl you've been waiting for?” the interviewer asked. “It is, man, it is,” he said and nodded before quickly holding up a Smurfette plush toy as he laughed.

Days after the premiere, Rihanna returned to her home country of Barbados on July 8 to attend the funeral of her father, Ronald Fenty, alongside A$AP Rocky and their sons.

The service was held at Garfield Sobers Gymnasium, with the burial taking place at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens in Christ Church.

Fenty passed away on May 31 at the age of 70 due to complications from pancreatic cancer, acute respiratory failure, and aspiration pneumonia.

Though their relationship had been rocky in the past, Rihanna and her father had reportedly reconciled in recent years.
