Masked Singer Winner Was Outed Unexpectedly

The show’s fifth season recently came to a conclusion, and the long-awaited reveal showed that the singer behind the Pig costume was American actor and singer, Nick Lachey.
Although fans were taken aback by this reveal, a report said that Lachey’s kids identified him as the disguised singer a few seconds into his first performance.
Lachey Speaks About His Time On The Show
After a long and hard-working journey, the show declared its winner and gifted Lachey a lovely Golden Mask trophy.
During a jubilant moment, the actor explained to Entertainment Weekly how he felt during the show and recounted the many attempts people made to guess his identity.
He further revealed that while everyone else had a hard time figuring it out, his three children, Camden, Brooklyn, and Phoenix knew that he was the one wearing the Pig costume on the show.
His daughter, Brooklyn was the first one to mention her daddy’s name when she heard him sing on stage.
Lachey’s Did Not Disclose His Win To His Kids
It seems like the actor enjoyed the interchanging scenarios. While the entire world was kept in the dark about his identity, his kids figured it out.
However, now that the world knows who the Pig is following his victory, Lachey mentioned during an interview that his kids had no idea that he won the show.
He went on to say that while he was taking them to school, one of his sons opened up about a dream he had where Lachey was eliminated from the show.

Will Lachey Come Back On The Show?
Lachey opened up about his initial plans to make a comeback on the show, but these plans flopped due to scheduling conflicts. Nevertheless, he attributed his debut appearance on the show to his kids.
The actor noted that his kids were captivated by the show, and always spoke about it, which increased his interest.
