Celebrities live a life of luxury. They earn fame and money from music, television, movies, fashion and endorsement deals, and other ventures. With celebs such as Avril Lavigne earning millions of dollars, these stars can splurge on anything.

One thing celebs often shell out big bucks for is a nice home. Whether they’re living in California, New York, or across the ocean; the rich and famous love to chill out at their mega mansions. Although, these homes are often secluded, sometimes fans get a glimpse at how the other half live.

In this day and age where everybody shares everything on social media, celebrities often give sneak peeks into their homes. Weeks ago, Kourtney Kardashian gave her 123 million Instagram followers a glimpse into her closet during a Poosh photoshoot. Aside from Kardashian, actress Kaley Cuoco showed off her humble abode during awards season when she posed poolside in an evening gown.

These celebrities homes are definitely luxurious with their massive rooms, pools, and other outrageous amenities. Although, fans are in awe of these celebrity houses, others aren’t keen on the decor.

Being in the public spotlight, celebrities are used to being judged. They’re often criticized for their wardrobe or career choices. However, now their interior decorating skills are coming under fire thanks to a TikTok account.

The TikTok user is named Samir, who calls himself “the CEO of celebrity interiors.” Samir’s page features a huge collection of videos critiquing the celebrity homes. In the videos, Samir starts off with details about the home, including its amenities. He then describes a list of features he likes about the house before starting his harsh critique.

It doesn’t matter how popular a celebrity is, if Samir finds a problem with their decorating, he’s going to drag them. A few of Samir’s targets include: singer Mariah Carey, reality star Kourtney Kardashian, and actress Reese Witherspoon.  Although, these celebs may be talented when it comes to acting and singing, Samir gives them a failing grade when it comes to decorating.

The TikTok user isn’t afraid to voice his opinion when it comes to the celeb’s décor. When reviewing Avril Lavigne’s $7 million Malibu home, Samir compared its look to that of “the public restroom at your local park.” As for makeup guru  Jeffrey Star’s Wyoming ranch, Samir didn’t go too harsh, but did voice his dislike of the toilet paper dispenser’s odd placement in the bathroom.

Although celebs may not take too kindly to critiques about their homes, fans are loving Samir’s brutal honesty. So far his TikTok page has garnered over 42,000 followers and 1.2 million likes. The comment section is often filled with affirmations of Samir’s assessment of the celebrity abodes. 

Samir isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. His page is still popular and his videos garner thousands of views. His newest targets include mother and daughter duo — and soon-to-be neighbors — Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian. With more celebs buying and selling houses, Samir is sure to have a lot to say on his TikTok account.
