Donald Trump is once again going after longtime rival Rosie O’Donnell.
Over the weekend, Donald Trump ignited controversy by threatening to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s U.S. citizenship, calling the comedian “a threat to humanity” in a scathing Truth Social post.
Donald Trump Threatens To Strip Rosie O'Donnell Of Citizenship

The President of the United States took to Truth Social on Saturday, claiming he’s giving “serious consideration” to stripping the comedian and actress of her citizenship due to her outspoken criticism of him and her recent move to Ireland.
“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” Trump wrote. “She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
However, legal experts were quick to point out that Trump has no power to do so, especially since O’Donnell was born in the United States.
The 14th Amendment clearly states that “all persons born or naturalized in the United States... are citizens of the United States.” O’Donnell, who was born in New York, remains a citizen regardless of where she currently resides.
Rosie O'Donnell Blames Trump For Deadly Texas Floods

In response to Trump’s latest attack, O’Donnell didn’t hold back. She posted a fiery video on TikTok calling Trump a “disgrace” and a “mentally ill untreated criminal.”
“The potus ladies n gentlemen is a disgrace to all our beautiful country stands for. He is a danger to the nation. A mentally ill untreated criminal who lied to America for a decade on 'The Apprentice,' thanks Mark Burnett, and you fell for it. It’s so tragic,” she said, calling on Americans to oppose him “at every turn.”
“Add me to the list of people who oppose him at every turn. It’s now or never America. My little posts from Dublin upset him, go arrest a few brown people, you truly evil man-child,” she added.
Rosie O'Donnell Slams Donald Trump From Ireland

The comedian and vocal Trump critic relocated to Ireland earlier this year.
In a TikTok video, she explained her reasoning, saying, “When it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back.”
She has continued to speak out against Trump online, recently slamming his leadership and blaming his administration’s cuts to the National Weather Service for contributing to deadly flash floods in Texas. “These are the results that we are going to see on a daily basis,” she warned.
Judge Blocks Trump’s Latest Attempt To End Birthright Citizenship

While Donald Trump continues to lash out at critics like Rosie O’Donnell, his ongoing efforts to reshape immigration policy are hitting legal roadblocks.
Just this past week, a federal judge in New Hampshire temporarily blocked the former president’s latest attempt to end birthright citizenship via executive order, a move many legal experts say directly contradicts the 14th Amendment.
A Feud Decades In The Making

Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump’s war of words dates back nearly two decades, and neither has backed down since.
Their bitter feud began in 2006 when O’Donnell, then a co-host on "The View," slammed Trump during a “Hot Topics” segment. At the time, Trump had come under fire for his decision to allow then-Miss USA Tara Conner to keep her crown despite allegations of underage drinking and drug use.
“He annoys me on a multitude of levels,” O’Donnell said on-air. “[He] left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair, had kids both times, but he's the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America. Donald, sit and spin, my friend. I don't enjoy him.”
Trump wasted no time firing back, calling her “a woman out of control” in an interview with PEOPLE.
What followed was a years-long back-and-forth filled with insults, public jabs, and social media digs, culminating in Trump repeatedly using his platform as president to take aim at O’Donnell. Their long-running feud, once a headline-grabbing celebrity spat, has now evolved into a political flashpoint, with O’Donnell continuing to criticize Trump’s leadership, and Trump now threatening to revoke her citizenship.
