Kate Beckinsale Shows Off Bikini Body That Looks 'Sick' Amid Staggering Weight Loss

Kate Beckinsale turned heads with her swimsuit body in August 2024, when her weight loss had already become a hot topic. The actress, 51, stripped down on Instagram for a fun post including her pets, and fans were largely supportive. Users, who are aware that Kate has suffered personal losses while supporting her mom through her cancer battle, were supportive, although recent photos of the British sensation have further sparked weight concerns. The most recent snaps even saw her called "sick" by one fan, with another asking if she was suffering from either "anorexia" or "bulimia." Kate has confirmed that neither is the case. Rather, that immense stress is being her slimmed-down frame.

Flashing her cleavage and toned abs, the Pearl Harbor star showed off her incredible figure, displaying her long legs while wearing a pair of gold platform heels. Sending out glam summer vibes while in shades, Kate also shared throwbacks of cats Clive and Willow, with a "Best friends" mention confirming that her furry friends are her BFFs.

A caption of "I miss you" many times over accompanied the share, which earned the actress over 40,000 likes.

More recently, though, Kate appears to have lost even more weight. Last weekend brought paparazzi photos of The Widow star heading toward her vehicle, and her leggy shorts look was definitely showing her thin frame. Fans reacted when Backgrid shared the photo on Instagram, although not all comments were unkind.

Wearing a white two-piece as she channeled boho vibes in her shorts and top, Kate injected goth energy into her look thanks to her massive platform boots. Wearing shades as she flaunted her figure and a golden tan, Kate had fans remarking on her weight more than anything else, although a few commented on her outfit.

Adding a crying emoji as they gained over 900 likes, one fan asked: "Can someone please tell me what happened to this lady?"  While Kate Beckinsale was also told she looks "ill" and "sick," one fan did gain over 200 likes for saying: "Be nice people. She has had some loss and is grieving. Her mother also was diagnosed with cancer recently. Life is hard on everyone."

Kate Beckinsale spoke out last summer, firing back after a user told her to build some muscle up. Kate confirmed:

“No, actually, I watched my stepfather die quite shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer, and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief,” also confirming that “the grief had burned a hole in my oesophagus [sic] which made me vomit blood.”
