Although the Chameleon wanted to make it through "The Masked Singer" competition with nothing but his rap skills, he was ultimately eliminated first during the season 5 finale, and ranked third overall.
After his unmasking, he was revealed to be Wiz Khalifa, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, a 33-year-old American rapper, singer, and songwriter with over 32.3 followers on Instagram.
Check out what he had to say about his time on "The Masked Singer" stage!

Although he knew several of the judges personally, Khalifa revealed that he never went to any great lengths to hide his identity like some of his competitors did.
“I really wasn’t trying to disguise myself, I was just trying to perform as good as possible,” he explained. “Just trying to bring a whole lot of personality, and be the character that I actually was when I was out there. That was my main goal, to bring the character to life.”
Favorite Performances

Although many fans loved his final performance of "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio featuring L.V., his favorite performance was actually "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See" by another "Masked Singer" vet, Busta Rhymes.
“One of my favorite performances was Busta Rhymes song,” he shared. “That was one of my favorite songs growing up, and we actually did like a small costume change where they took the tongue off, and they put a squiggly one so that was just more fun and it was like the alternate costume. I was the only one who was able to do that the whole season so it was cool.”
Why Do The Show?

In his final clue package, Chameleon said that it would mean a lot to win this for his fans, his son, his sister's memory, and for himself. Although he primarily did the show for his family and fans, the COVID-19 lockdown also played a key part in his decision to participate.
He explained, "And then being on lockdown for a whole year I haven’t gotten a chance to perform or do anything on the road so I was just dying to get back on stage."
Great Costume

Although many former contestants have expressed how difficult it is to move around in the costume, Khalifa actually didn't seem to share the same complaints as his competitors.
"The costume was movable," he revealed. "I feel like everybody has their own thing that could have been a little bit more comfortable or a little bit smaller, but they did a perfect job in my opinion keeping everybody cozy while we were up there on the stage. It was definitely a little bit more difficult than I actually thought it would be."
