Kid Cudi Walks Down The Aisle After Taking The Stand In Diddy's Trial

Kid Cudi secretly tied the knot to his longtime partner, Lola Abecassis Sartore, a month after sharing his traumatic past with Diddy.

The rapper, born Scott Mescudi, is no stranger to keeping his relationship under wraps and left fans out of the loop about his blossoming romance for years. He first debuted his ties to the fashion designer in April 2024 when he announced their engagement.

Fortunately, it only took over a week for Kid Cudi and his wife, Lola Abecassis Sartore, to confirm their trip down the aisle. They said their vows in a luxurious ceremony that screamed fairytale romance with its picturesque location.

Fans got a glimpse at Cudi and Sartore's beautiful wedding ceremony thanks to the exclusive pictures released by Vogue Magazine on Instagram. The photo dump began with a heartwarming snap of the groom and bride posing at their ocean view venue.

Sartore looked breathtaking in a stunning white gown that flaunted intricate lace details while her beau kept it classy in a suit, white shirt, and a black tie.

He held his bride by the waist and placed a tender kiss on the side of her temple. Scrolling down captured more sweet moments, including a steamy kiss on the lips.

There were also shots of the couple's entrance, a close-up snap of Sartore's massive diamond ring, and a cute picture of them cutting their enormous wedding cake. The post's caption shed more light on the momentous occasion, revealing the ceremony was held on June 28 at Cap Estel in Eze, the South of France.

Although Cudi and Sartore had every right to focus on themselves, they paid tribute to the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh. The Off-White founder played a key role in their romance as they first met at his Louis Vuitton debut show in 2018.

"I was working behind the scenes, and Scott was walking the runway. Our eyes met in the chaos, and there was a silent spark. After the show, Scott walked straight up and asked for my number," Sartore recalled in her interview with the magazine.

She and Cudi paid homage to Abloh by inviting Badbadnotgood, the band from the night the couple met at the fashion icon's show, to perform at their wedding. Additionally, they built a bounce castle as a tribute to the late designer.

The venue Cudi and Sartore chose to say their vows was near the fashion designer's hometown in the South of France. The rapper had Saint Laurent fashion style their weekend wardrobe while celebrity jeweler Ben Baller worked on their wedding bands.

The designer symbolized their love with platinum bands featuring a mix of rose gold for Cudi and gold for Lola. TMZ shared that the rapper also surprised his bride by performing two unreleased songs from his new album "Free."

Cudi's touching wedding performance comes months after he noted his new album was "d-mn near dedicated to [his] fiancée." At the time, the still-engaged entertainer proclaimed he was the happiest he had ever been and noted that each song on the studio project was a love confession, per PEOPLE. 

Sartore's passion for fashion stemmed from her family's history in the industry. Her grandfather founded a shoe company that was passed on to her mother and sister. Thanks to her creative childhood, she knew her future would entail creating and designing.

Cudi's wife graduated from Atelier Chardon Savard and launched her fashion career by working for Louis Vuitton under the late Abloh before joining Pharrell Williams. She left the brand last January and built new roots at fashion house ERL, serving as their head of design.

As stated, Sartore and Cudi kept their relationship private and did not announce their relationship until April 2024. They confirmed their romance in their engagement update, raving about their happiness and passionate love for each other.

Cudi said his vows to Sartore a month after he took the witness stand in Diddy's federal trial. The Blast covered the story, reporting that the rapper shared a detailed recollection of his alleged run-ins with the music mogul.

Diddy allegedly harassed Cudi for daring to date his on-and-off-again lover, Cassie Ventura, while they were on a break. Cudi accused the older rapper of breaking into his home after he booked Cassie in a hotel to get away from him.

Cudi claimed he confronted Diddy over the phone about the break-in, and the latter allegedly claimed he wished to talk. Cudi returned to find his family's Christmas presents opened and his dog locked in the bathroom. Another incident, per his words, saw Diddy setting his Porsche 911 convertible on fire.
