Brad Pitt has been awarded joint custody of his children after a lengthy and bitter battle with his famous ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.
According to multiple reports, the private judge handling the ex-couple’s case made the “tentative ruling” after hearing months of evidence, witnesses, and reading documentation connected to their case.
The judge reportedly issued a lengthy ruling which included hearing professionals from child services who interviewed the kids and details surrounding allegations of domestic violence.
“There was a significant change made in the custody agreements based on an extremely detailed decision made by the judge,” a source told Page Six who broke the story.

The private trial in this case reportedly lasted for several months and there were a ton of witnesses, experts and therapists interviewed. According to reports, there was also testimony from people who have been around the kids, and the judge made his decision based on all the facts.
Angelina Jolie doesn’t have an issue with joint custody of the children, one report states, but she had another “concerns” which were sealed by the court.
“There was a safety order surrounding the previous custody arrangements, that is public, and the kids’ schedule has been set under the jurisdiction of the division of family services for over three years,” a source told Page Six.

It continued, “Judge Ouderkirk denied Ms. Jolie a fair trial, improperly excluding her evidence relevant to the children’s health, safety, and welfare, evidence critical to making her case.”
As you know, Angelina accused Brad of being abusive toward their then 15-year-old son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, during a private jet flight from France to the U.S. Pitt was investigated by authorities in Los Angeles and no criminal charges were filed.
At this point, Maddox is 19-years old, and it not subject to the new custody order. But, the ex-couple shares five other children including, 17-year-old Pax, 16-year-old Zahara, 14-year-old Shiloh, and 12-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox.
Now, Angelina can appeal the ruling and continue to battle in court if, but or now it is a huge win for the actor.
