Britney Spears has sparked a fresh wave of concern after three identical photos were shared in an Instagram posting spree last night. The 39-year-old pop icon revived her 2020 flower crown phase on Tuesday night, posting for her 29.9 million followers and in a look that's been seen dozens of times already. Photography project "Project Rose" made headlines last year for seeing Spears stunning fans in a peasant blouse and fresh flower crown, and it looks like the roses are back. See what's going on below.

Scroll for the latest photos. Britney, who has been making news for her sheer shirt and pantyhose "RED" phase this year, is known for her whimsical or off-beat posts, but with #FreeBritney alleging the star is somehow managed, manipulated, or unwell, the comments didn't take long as Britney shared close-ups of her face.
The snaps showed the Grammy winner looking dead down the lens and wearing a vintage necklace, plus pink roses in hair that was blowing around her face. Different filters had been added for each image.
The "Toxic" hit-maker, peeping what may have been the blue-and-white peasant blouse she wore last year, wrote: "ROSE!" for each caption. This breaks the pattern amid similar posts, where Britney will often offer an upbeat or excited caption, or one explaining her filter situation/makeup.
It was a tough crowd in the comments section. "Concerned," one fan replied. "Britney, are you okay?" another said - this query was seen over and over, this despite the singer continuing to claim she's totally "fine." More photos below.

Britney last year actually joked about wearing the "same" peasant top "17 times," this as she confirmed that her backyard photos were part of "Project Rose." "Bestie you posted this 3 times in a row," a hugely-popular reply read.
"She posted this 3 times, I think it's a message," one user wondered. Others, meanwhile, asked "What happened to RED?!"
September 2020 had marked Britney clapping back at allegations that her posts are recycled. "A lot of people have been saying that a lot of my posts are not new but they're old," she began.

The much-misunderstood star continued: "But just to let you guys know, none of my pictures or posts are more than a month old. Yes, I know. I did wear the same top 17 times, but it's for a project - Project Rose. And you will be seeing way more of Project Rose in the future."
The photos come as Spears continues to make headlines for firing back over "Framing Britney Spears" documentary. Likewise, for gearing up to speak in court next month as she battles dad Jamie Spears. If you missed Britney's tiny sandwich, just scroll!
