Paulina Gretzky Did Not Appear In Playboy Because of Hubby Dustin Johnson

Plenty of fans now have reason to not cheer for Dustin Johnson out on the links next time he tee's it up after finding out the PGA star pushed fiancee Paulina Gretzky to turn down an offer to appear in the famous Playboy Magazine.
Now a mother of two sons with the pro golfer, Paulina mentioned that the offer came in a couple of years back around 2013 when she was just beginning her relationship with Dustin. The golfer was not a fan of the idea!

When Dustin is out on the course he usually takes his time to go over the read with his caddie before hitting a shot. In this case, he shot down the idea immediately! Paulina recalled in a recent appearance in the Pillows and Beer podcast how she approached Dustin with the news.
She recalled telling Dustin,
“Dustin, just remember I love you, Playboy asked me to do, you know, Playboy, and I was like, ‘Yes, this is a great opportunity,’”

Gretzky recalled that Dustin Johnson was not on board with the idea at all. Even telling her he'd match the money offer that Playboy had put on the table. All to make sure that Gretzky would not appear in the magazine.
According to Gretzky money wasn't what she was after in this instance. Therefore, she also turned down the money from Johnson. Seeing how much the idea of her being in Playboy ultimately bothered her boyfriend was what made her turn down the offer.

Paulina is of course the daughter of just the greatest hockey player of all-time Wayne Gretzky. When asked what her father would have thought about her being in Playboy Paulina said,
" My dad is not looking at my Instagram right now."
If Wayne's not on board with the heart-stopping Instagram photos that are at the most PG-13 it's safe to say he wouldn't have been on board with Playboy either. Ultimately it's tough luck for the fine gentlemen who buy the magazine to appreciate the art and in-depth article writing!

The couple has been engaged since 2013 which is coincidently the year that Gretzky got the Playboy offer. The fact that the relationship was getting serious probably edged her away from a good opportunity for her career.
They've postponed the marriage on numerous occasions due to the arrival of their 2 boys. Whom, are ages 6 and 3 respectively. Gretzky has already been spotted shopping for a wedding dress. The couple hopes to tie the knot this year finally! Playboy is all but out of the question at this point.
