Lindsay Lohan Spotted In Arabian Desert Amid New Netflix Deal

Lindsay Lohan is currently front-page news for her return to acting, and she's been busy stunning fans straight from the Dubai desert. The 34-year-old "Mean Girls" star and singer had vowed to resume acting for her 2020 New Year's Resolution, but fans of the famous redhead had to endure quite the wait. Earlier this week, the former child star was confirmed as having secured a Christmas rom-com special with streaming giant Netflix, and she definitely dropped a massive hint in her Instagram photo. Scroll for the photo. Lindsay will return in an as-yet-untitled Netflix movie, one seeing her play a "newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress." The jewelry designer, making headlines of late for her collab with Lily Baker Jewels, will see her character suffering from amnesia following a skiing accident, with the story swiftly taking her into the arms of a "handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter," all in the backdrop of the upcoming holiday season. Nobody knows who'll be her co-stars.

Lohan, who has been living in the Middle East for years and calls Dubai home, updated her Instagram four days ago, posting in a stunning green silk dress and amid sand dunes and a moody sky. The actress, seen with crew and a huge mic hanging over her, had artificial lights illuminating her face, writing: "The beginning of something..."

January 2020 saw Lohan in the news for speaking with both Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper as she was asked if she had any New Year's Resolutions.

"Yes, I do," she said. "I’m managing my sister, so I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I’m doing something soon in this new year. And, you know, just taking back the life I’ve worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys." More photos below.

In 2019, and following little success with reality series "Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club," the star opened up to Variety, telling the media outlet: "I love acting. It’s my passion. But I like being behind the scenes. If I’m not filming at the moment, I need to be creative somehow. I can’t just sit and do nothing."
