'RHONY' Star Leah McSweeney Slams Heather Thomson For Planting Story

Leah McSweeney addressed her feud with Heather Thomson during a recent appearance on the "Chicks in the Office" podcast.

After rumors began swirling which suggested McSweeney bullied Thomson, who quit her part-time position midway through season 13, off the show, McSweeney fired back at her former co-star by suggesting she was the one behind the shocking magazine report.

"I don’t know. I guess she, or I don’t know who, most likely her planted a story in Us Weekly," McSweeney alleged of Thomson.

After telling the podcast hosts that she will "never talk to" Us Weekly again, McSweeney recalled that an unnamed source had told the outlet that she had supposedly "bum-rushed [Thomson] off the show" or had been "acting exploitative" towards her.

While McSweeney was accused of acting up for the sake of relevance on the reality series, she said that she was actually attempting to keep her cool amid production on the 13th season of "The Real Housewives of New York City."

"Acting for the cameras? I’m trying to stay sane on the cameras so people don’t how batsh-t I really am," McSweeney insisted, clapping back at the insider's allegations against her. 

McSweeney then took aim at Thomson further, saying that the former "Real Housewives of New York City" cast member is "really lucky" that their production team was around at the time of their heated fight on the show.

"She’s really lucky the cameras were there to be honest. Sometimes you just don’t vibe with people," McSweeney explained.

"She’s that chick that’s like, ‘You shouldn’t do this. And I know everything.’ And I’m not with that," McSweeney continued. "It’s not my cup of tea."

According to McSweeney, she was in an overly emotional state at the time of her encounter with Thomson because her grandmother had just passed.

"It wasn’t an easy trip for me. My grandmother was passing away. Maybe I would have been in a different mood if it hadn’t but we would never vibe, regardless. Would I have lost my temper? Maybe not. I don’t know," she admitted.

"She has a strong mind of her own. If she wanted to stay on or come to other events, she could have. But she didn’t want to I guess,” McSweeney noted.
