Kathy Hilton Admits Daughter Paris Was 'Disgusted' After She Joined 'RHOBH,' Talks Kyle Richards

Kathy Hilton shared her daughters' reactions to her addition to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast during an episode of "Daily Blast LIVE" earlier this month.

Ahead of last week's Season 11 premiere, Kathy admitted that when it came to Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton's response to the news, neither of her children were exited about their mom's new role on the Bravo reality show. In fact, as Kathy explained, the ladies were full-on "disgusted" with the idea of their mom appearing on the series.

“When Paris found out that I was doing the show, ‘The Housewives,’ she was disgusted. Both of my daughters were like, ‘Oh, she’s being shady.’ And, I was," Kathy admitted.

According to Kathy, she actually steered clear of her two daughters for a while after she officially signed on to appear on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in a part-time position. 

"I kind of avoided them because I knew they would not be pleased," she explained.

Luckily, after having some time to process the news, Paris and Nicky have had a change of heart.

"Now they’re fine with it,” Kathy confirmed.

Also fine with it is Kathy's younger half-sister, Kyle Richards, who has been featured on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in a full-time role since it first began and is the longest-running cast member of the series.

“Kyle, she really wanted me to do it. Which really made me feel very good because Kyle and I have had our share of problems," Kathy explained.

Looking back at the time she spent with her cast mates while filming the new episodes of Season 11, Kathy said that when it comes to her co-stars, they all know how to deliver in terms of drama.

“They all serve up drama. They are drama queens. And I’m not saying it in a bad way. I love them but these girls get very passionate about what they like, what they don’t like, and they go on and on and on and on, and they can switch like that," she admitted.

Due to her family ties to the show, Kathy has been featured in cameo roles over the past 10 seasons of the series. However, Season 11 is her first official position.
