Duane “Dog” Chapman’s grandson is showing his support for the family patriarch amid a health scare that landed Chapman in the hospital earlier this week.
Cobie Chapman took to Instagram to post an image of himself with his father Leland and grandfather Duane.
There was no caption on the image, but fans in the comments interpreted it as a show of support for his grandfather. Many used it to send their prayers to Dog. “Sending many prayers for you Dog and your family,” one person wrote.
It was initially reported that Dog was taken to the hospital with chest pain, and many speculated he’d suffered a heart attack. But test results reportedly showed that he was suffering from high blood pressure and stress.
Dog’s wife, Beth Chapman, passed away from cancer complications in June.
One Dog was stabilized, he was released to his home Monday night. His team told The Blast:
“Dog is back at home and resting comfortably. He is overwhelmed by the support of fans and friends from around the world, and is deeply touched by the outpouring of prayers, love, and encouragement. While he is following doctor’s orders and taking time to heal, he wants everyone to follow DOG’S ORDERS and watch Dog’s Most Wanted Wednesday night on WGN America.”
