Eight years since their divorce was finalized, Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian are still not on speaking terms.

The duo married in Sepetember 2009. After rumors of their separation went viral online, Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013. 

Although Odom still blames himself for ending their marriage, the NBA star noted recently that he has not spoken to his ex-wife since they called their marriage off.

During an interview with “Radio Andy” by SiriusXM, Odom disclosed that he and Kardashian have not spoken since she filed for divorce in 2013. 

This came after Andy Cohen asked, “Where do you and my girl Khloé stand these days Lamar?” 

Furthermore, the NBA star noted that although Kardashian positively influenced his character, their relationship is still in a difficult place.

“I miss their family tremendously,” Odom said regarding other members of the Kardashian family, whom he was very close to during the marriage. 

In early 2009, Odom met Kardashian, who had just recently broken up with her then basketball lover, Rashad McCants.

At this time, Odom was still a member of the Los Angeles Lakers team, and the duo clicked immediately. In a shocking wave of events, they announced their intention to be married four weeks after they met.

After the wedding, Kardashian adopted her husband’s last name and became Khloé Kardashian Odom. 

Although the couple seemed happy despite the sudden marriage, separation rumors plagued the union a few years later. 

Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, which was finalized in December 2016. 

The details surrounding this ex-couple’s relationship is vague, as neither of them openly disclosed why they decided to get separated. 

Some reports however, alleged that the former NBA player was distracted by the spotlight when he married Kardashian. This in turn may have made him lose sight of the important things in his life. 

Nevertheless, Odom was quite close to the Kar/Jenner sisters and never missed an opportunity to speak about how much he misses them. 

He told Cohen that he still wishes for a reconciliation between he and other members of the Kardashian family.

In 2019, Odom disclosed his engagement to personal fitness trainer, Sabrina Parr on Instagram. 

Although fans were excited for the former player, his kids slammed him for choosing another woman over them in the comment section of the post. A few days later, reports of Parr and Odom’s oldest daughter, Destiny engaged in an alteration went viral. 

Later, Parr announced that their engagement has been called off and wished the father of three well in his future endeavors. 

On the other hand, Kardashian shares a 3-year-old daughter with a basketball player named Tristan Thompson.
