Lala Kent Reveals Randall Emmett Is Ready For Baby No. 2

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett welcomed their first child together, daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, just two months ago but already, the "Vanderpump Rules" star claims her movie producer boyfriend is ready to get her pregnant for a second time.

During an interview on Amazon Livestream last week, Kent, 30, recalled a recent conversation she had with Emmett, 50, in regard to another child, admitting that before the chat, she thought she would have to beg and plead for a second baby from her partner.

“I thought I was gonna have to fight so hard to get baby No. 2," Kent explained, according to a May 23 report from the Daily Soap Dish.

But that wasn't the case.

As she revealed, “Randall two days ago was like, ‘I think I’m ready to start trying again.” 

Kent and Emmett announced their first pregnancy last September during an episode of their podcast, "Give Them Lala With Randall." Then, weeks later, they confirmed their first child, the third for Emmett, was a girl.

As fans of "Vanderpump Rules" may know, Kent didn't have the easiest pregnancy with daughter Ocean. In fact, she went through quite a lot of scary moments as she experienced bleeding and other problems with her placenta that could have put her baby's health in jeopardy. 

Luckily, when Ocean arrived on March 15, several weeks prior to her due date, she was perfectly healthy.

After Kent learned that Emmett was ready to start trying for another child, she immediately considered the stress that would mean for her body.

She then admitted that when it comes to weight loss and exercise, she's taking things slow as she enjoys these early moments with her baby.

“I was like, ‘I’m still trying to get my bounce back bod on. It doesn’t have to be right away because I am just so in love, and I want to enjoy [Ocean] for as long as possible,” she noted.

Also during the livestream, Kent said Emmett is in more of a rush due to his age. 

“Randall says, ‘You’re so young.’ And I’m like, ‘You’re not. [I don’t want him] to be 90 years old walking into [our] son or daughter’s high school graduation,” she laughed.

Kent and her cast mates began filming the ninth season of "Vanderpump Rules" earlier this month and will return to Bravo for the new episodes sometime this fall.
