Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney has been tree-swinging and back-flipping onto a house roof in a pretty wowing commercial for GEICO car insurance. The 25-year-old vault queen, now fronting the insurance giant, today returned for another hilarious and ultra-impressive video, posting for her 1.3 million Instagram followers and showing that being retired hasn't affected her skill-set. On Monday, the California native shared a video of her version of a frisbee save, and it was power galore from the star who's fresh from kidney stones surgery. Check it out below.

Scroll for the video. McKayla, who made headlines for her gymnastics display in April as she helped fight phone use behind the wheel, was today back in her blue leotard. Filmed outside a house, it was a "What are you waiting for, McKayla Maroney to get your frisbee off the roof?" deal as a guy was seen bummed out by having his frisbee stuck on a roof.

"I'll get it" was McKayla's take as dramatic superhero-esque music played for a major build-up.

Effortlessly running up towards the house, Maroney was seen swinging through trees at rapid speed, then back-flipping her way right onto the roof for the big save. "Woaaaah," was all the guy could manage with a sheepish: "Thank you, McKayla."

Taking to her caption, McKayla wrote: "I used my gymnastic skills to help get a friend’s Frisbee® off the roof and luckily it was captured on video! Now we are talking about making it into a @GEICO commercial. What do you think? #ad." See more photos after the video.

The video, which has brought in an immense response, quickly saw fans calling Maroney "iconic," although one did ask: "But were you the one actually doing the stunts?" The gymnast also clocked herself over 100,000 views in four hours. McKayla, of course, went viral with her "unimpressed" face back at the London 2012 Olympics, something she last year revealed still results in teasing from her family members.

McKayla has also managed to stay front-page news this year for health reasons, and not by choice. More below.

Earlier this year, McKayla shared a late-night trip to the E.R. as she revealed being in immense pain. “Tuesday I was throwing up all day, with severe pain in my back and stomach,” she wrote, adding: “Had to come to ER at 3am because pain kept getting worse, and I couldn’t stop throwing up… Just got my CT scan back. I have a few kidney stones.”

After around three weeks and stones that didn't "budge," the star returned to the hospital for surgery and now seems to be making a good recovery. If you missed Simone Biles' double pike vault, just scroll.
