A Justin Bieber collaboration is not a dream in the clouds for BTS, this according to Namjoon, aka RM.
During a recent interview with Zach Sang of the ‘Zach Sang Show,’ the men of BTS spoke about their new song ‘Butter,’ future plans & those Justin Bieber collaboration rumors that have been floating around.
But I wouldn’t hold out hope for a collaboration anytime soon. More on that in a minute.
RM noted that some of goals for BTS’ “Butter era” are to be smooth & hot at the same time. Their goal is to show the vibe of melting butter.

Jung Kook noted BTS will come to fans “smoothly” during this era, and Jin said that they are adding “a flavor.”
RM encapsulated all of these points by saying, “So, it means that we are smooth.”
This “butter er” is clearly more suggestive than their past eras, if you are picking up what BTS is putting down.
Given that Justin Bieber had had plenty of suggestive eras, 'Yummy' we are looking at you, does this mean BTS is ‘dreaming’ of a collaboration with him?!?
NOT SO FAST.

The men of BTS are very focused on this new chapter and when Sang said, “There was rumor that there may be a Justin Bieber collab. Is that a dream? Do we manifest this?”
RM immediately responded saying, “Um, it’s not a dream. We’re in the same company. We’re company friends, so it’s not a dream, but it hasn’t happened yet.”
While I’m sure ARMY was devastated to hear this news, RM did clarify that all bets for a Justin Bieber collaboration are not off the table.
He continued, “So, if you see this video friend, call us, or come to Korea. Let’s go apple, apples. Let’s go.”
As for other musical genres the Bangtan boys of BTS want to try out?
V said, “Let’s try classical music.”
RM noted, “Like Baby Shark. So like, literally all people can sing to it.”
BTS is well on their way to making the next 'Baby Shark' bop!
And now ‘Baby Shark’ is playing on repeat in my head, thanks BTS.
