Miley Cyrus is celebrating her COVID vaccine with a major Band-Aid show-off and a good old joke. The 28-year-old "Prisoner" hit-maker, who made 2020 headlines for pleading with fans not to buy all the "soup," last night updated her Instagram with confidence as she showed off her post-vaccine smile, with the makeup-free shot also seeing the former "Hannah Montana" star with wet hair. Miley, this year dedicating her "Angels Like You" performance to healthcare workers, is now showing the hard work they're doing. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo. Miley took a quick selfie on Friday night, posing solo and with her eyes closed and her face scrunched up into a giant smile. The snap, channeling Miley's recent rocker style, came with her in a black and printed tank top, heavy chain necklaces, and little in the way of fuss. Miley, showing off natural curls that were damp, sent out major joy, writing:
"Led Zeppelin is cool. Getting vaxxed is cooler." Keep scrolling for the photo.

Miley's post, shared with her 132 million Instagram followers, also encouraged those not yet vaccinated to head to the COVID-19 Information Center for vaccine resources.
Miley now joins the long list of celebrities taking to social media to confirm they've been vaccinated. Near-breaking the internet with her "felt nothing" reveal was 39-year-old pop icon Britney Spears. Actress Jessica Alba has also marked hers, as has Miley's godmother, legendary singer Dolly Parton. Miley had urged everyone to get the vaccine back in March. More photos below.

Miley made headlines two months ago for urging her followers to go ahead and get the jab. "We all look forward to being together again + this can happen sooner than we may have thought with vaccines becoming more available," she said, adding: "Each of us can help stop the pandemic by being vaccinated. Together we can make the experience of live music a reality again."
Miley has also been rocking her face masks on public outings, even on her flights to NYC for her recent SNL performance. Skip the jump for more snaps.

The vaccination encouragement also comes from renowned expert Dr. Anthony Fauci.
"You need to get vaccinated when it becomes available as quickly and as expeditiously as possible throughout the country," he said in March. "And the reason for that is ... viruses cannot mutate if they don't replicate. And if you stop their replication by vaccinating widely and not giving the virus an open playing field to continue to respond to the pressures that you put on it, you will not get mutations."
