Sean "Diddy" Combs is likely still celebrating the verdict reached in the federal trial that saw him acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
However, the verdict has received negative reactions from members of the public since it was revealed, with many arguing that the mogul should have been found guilty of all charges and was favored by his celebrity status.
Now, a juror on the case has hit back at what they call the public's "highly insulting" response, defending the integrity of their deliberation process.
Juror Slams 'Highly Insulting' Public Reaction To The Diddy Verdict

A juror in Diddy's trial has slammed the public responses to the recent verdict, which saw the embattled music mogul acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Diddy had been charged with one count of racketeering, two counts of sex trafficking, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. But, after an 8-week trial, he was found not guilty of the more serious crimes but convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The verdict drew a mixed reaction from the public, especially on social media, where some speculated Diddy's celebrity status may have influenced the ruling, causing the juror to speak out in defense of the jury's integrity, saying the public reaction is "highly insulting and belittling to the jury and the deliberation process."
"We spent over two days deliberating," the juror told ABC News. "Our decision was based solely on the evidence presented and how the law is stated."
"We would have treated any defendant in the same manner regardless of who they are. I have nothing else to say," they added.
The Disgraced Rapper Was Denied Bail After His Court Victory

Diddy remains in custody ahead of his October 3 sentencing on the two prostitution-related convictions, facing up to 10 years in prison for each count.
His lawyers posted a $1 million bail bond following the verdict, but Judge Arun Subramanian decided not to release him, citing a history of violence that was acknowledged by Diddy's defense team during the trial.
The acquittals on the sex trafficking charge mean he avoided a 15-year mandatory minimum sentence, which could have escalated to life in prison if he had been convicted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
Even though he was denied bail, Diddy's attorney, Anna Estevao, considers it a "huge win" for the Bad Boy Records founder.
"He was acquitted of sex trafficking, acquitted of RICO conspiracy," Estevao told reporters outside a Manhattan courtroom, per NBC News. "He will be able to sleep well at night knowing that."
Diddy Received A Rousing Welcome In Prison After His Legal Win

Diddy reportedly received a standing ovation from fellow inmates at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, the jail where he has been staying since his arrest in September last year.
His lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo, told People Magazine in an interview that the inmates saw his client's verdict as a ray of hope and seemingly didn't hesitate to acknowledge it.
"They all said, 'We never get to see anyone who beats the government,'" Agnifilo said.
According to reports, the lawyer told Diddy to expect arrest on sex trafficking charges after his L.A. and Miami homes were raided by Homeland Security operatives early last year.
"I said: 'Maybe it's your fate in life to be the guy who wins,'" he recalled during a telephone interview briefly interrupted by a jailhouse call from Diddy. "They need to see that someone can win. I think he took that to heart."
Top Lawyers For O.J. Simpson Praised The Music Mogul's Team Of Attorneys

O.J. Simpson's legal team, comprising Robert Shapiro and Alan Dershowitz, lauded Diddy's lawyers for the defense strategy they adopted, specifically praising them for keeping him off the witness stand.
"The defense team did a terrific job on a case the U.S. Attorney overcharged," Shapiro told FoxNews, crediting them for convincing a jury that Diddy was not guilty of the RICO charge. "An acquittal in Federal Court is highly unusual."
Dershowitz also told the news outlet that it was a wise choice for Diddy's lawyers not to allow him to testify.
"Ultimately, the smart decision was not putting O.J. on the witness stand," he told the news outlet. "The smart decision here was not putting Combs on the witness stand."
Diddy Is 'Doing Okay' And Now 'Realizes He Has Flaws Like Everyone Else'

Agnifilo also spoke about Diddy's overall mental and emotional state, explaining that he typically speaks to the rapper about four to five times a day.
"He's doing okay," the lawyer told People, adding that Diddy "realizes he has flaws like everyone else that he never worked on."
"He burns hot in all matters. I think what he has come to see is that he has these flaws, and there's no amount of fame and no amount of fortune that can erase them," Agnifilo continued. "You can't cover them up."
