Marvel’s sexy nerd Kat Dennings is officially off the market after announcing that she and musician Andrew W.K. are engaged. The engagement announcement that came out late last week took fans by surprise because Dennings is the queen of covert dating. The 34-year-old and her beau were first linked in April and now they are engaged. The engagement announcement was shared by Dennings on Instagram with the caption “Don’t mind if I do.” The actress has had to kiss a lot of extremely good-looking frogs to catch her prince. Back in 2009, Dennings and Ryan Gosling were spotted at the happiest place on earth Disneyland on what looked like a fun date. But Dennings being who she is, refused to confirm or deny that a relationship was taking place between her and the Notebook star. However, at the time she did share with MTV News that she is not entirely comfortable. “I don't know. I can't talk about my personal life.” She truly is sticking to her word, to this day she hasn’t admitted to it.

Who knew that Criminal Minds sexy geek Matthew Gray Gubler was involved with Dennings? The two, for a while, played it off like it was a close friendship but they were actually dating for a short period of time in 2007. The two did not leave on bad terms and Gubler even spoke about her briefly in 2015 to Glamourmagazine. “I'm still really good friends with her. I love Kat. Nick Zano appeared in Two Broke Girls with Dennings seeing as on-set romances happen quite a bit with actors, no one was overly surprised. The two began dating in 2011 and Dennings even confirmed the relationship during an interview with Glamourmagazine in 2012. “Yes! I have nothing to hide! It's the truth! He's the best!” Their characters also dated and both relationships fizzled out eventually. The two broke up in 2014 with no harsh feelings. This was probably one of the most public relationships that Dennings has had. The actress stepped out plenty of times with ex-boyfriend Josh Groban. In fact, fans truly believed they were on the path to marriage. Their relationship began in October 2014 and she even bragged about him on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2015. “Humor is such a huge thing for me, so, you know, the fact that we could talk about Monty Python and all sorts of weird other things, I was like, ‘OK yeah, we're on the same page.’” Unfortunately, the pair mutually broke up in 2016.

Now, she is out of the dating pool but Dennings has also been linked to Evan Rachel Wood’s brother Ira David Wood IV and her Marvel family co-star Tom Hiddleston. So, clearly, Dennings has had enough of dating and has finally found her forever guy. This is the first marriage (that we know of) for Dennings, but Andrew has been married once before to ex-wife Cherie Lily. They finalized their divorce back in 2019 before the actress started dating him. The 42-year-old has no kids and neither does Dennings but they join a long list of newlyweds and newly engaged couples like fellow actors Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas.
