Stause and Hartley were both soap opera actors when they began dating in 2014. Hartley was playing the role of Adam Newman on "The Young and the Restless," while Stause starred on "Days of Our Lives." Stause and Hartley quickly became a popular couple among soap fans.

2016 would be a big year for the couple. Justin landed the role of Kevin Pearson on the hit NBC series "This Is Us." That same year, he and Chrishell also became engaged.

The couple married in October 2017, and Stause relished in her role as wife and stepmother of Justin's daughter Isabella, from his first marriage to Lindsay Korman. Stause and Hartley were all smiles as they walked the red carpet of awards shows. However, behind-the-scenes all was not well, and Hartley filed for divorce in November 2019.

Following news of Hartley's wedding to Pernas, the main topic was how Stause reacted to the news.  "Entertainment Tonight" reported that sources close to the 39-year-old said she was a "little surprised" by her ex rushing into marriage. However, as it turns out, the report may not be accurate.

Following the report by "Entertainment Tonight," Stause took to Instagram to debunk the claims. In an Instagram story Stause wrote, "I see 'sources' are speaking for me," followed by an eye roll emoji. Her statement continued with "If I have something to say, I will say it here. If it's not on my page, it didn't come from me," Stause then added a #bookedandunbothered hashtag.

Although, her divorce from Hartley was difficult, Stause is moving on. Personally, the "Selling Sunset" star isn't doing well in the romance department. In the fall of 2020, she began dating "Dancing With the Stars" pro Keo Motsepe, and the two confirmed their relationship in December. However, two months later, the couple broke up.

Stause's personal life may have a series of bad luck, but she's thriving professionally. She's currently filming season four of "Selling Sunset," which is rumored to be premiering later this year. Aside from her reality series, Stause is also returning to her soap opera roots. She's set to reprise her role as Jordan Ridgeway on "Days of Our Lives" starting next week.
