Lizzo has lost a lot of weight in the past two years, but according to some, she still has a long way to go.
The "Truth Hurts" singer first opened up about her weight "release" journey in 2025, when she explained that she had massively lowered her body fat percentage over the past two years.

Scroll for the photo. Earlier this month, the singer denied using Ozempic and insisted that her weight loss was coming from cardio, animal proteins, and a calorie deficit. "The photo on the left is my first time getting a lymphatic massage from Flavia, and the right is the most recent! In light of all these magazines and blogs wanting me to be on Ozempic soooo bad— here’s the truth!" she wrote in the caption.
"I work my ass off, training 3x a week, daily sauna & cardio, adding animal protein back into my diet, hiring a chef who helps me meal prep and keeps track of what I put into my body in a calorie deficit, cutting out sugary Starbucks & full fat sodas & potato chips… I quit drinking for the longest… (but I’m drinking again cus I earned it!)" she continued.

In addition, she revealed that she also likes to play sports and stay hydrated while doing so. "I play pickleball and hike and walk on the beach and move my body and dance and drink water. I detox! Once a month! I also get holistic body work done, wood therapy, and lymphatic massage. I’m so happy and proud of what I’ve done and no one can take that away from me," she concluded.
The post got a celebrity like from Paris Hilton, who wrote “We love @flavialanini” in the comments. Other fans praised Flavia in the comments, as well as Lizzo’s new look.
Is Ozempic Cheating?

Over on Instagram, some insisted that it didn’t matter if she used Ozempic or not in order to achieve results.
“It shouldn’t matter if you did use Ozempic or any other weight loss drug. It’s not cheating any more than hiring a personal trainer and a chef is. Some people need a bit of extra help, and that’s ok,” one user wrote. The comment got over 3,000 likes and sparked over 100 replies.
“t is cheating, and its unhealthy, a personal trainer helps you work your ass off, a chef makes a calorie deficit more endurable, nothing stops you from telling the personal trainer to fuck off, and eat a huge pie in front of the chef, ozempic is cheating,” another user countered.

Over on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, the Internet was a bit meaner. Many left comments saying that she was “still fat” and another that said “She still needs to lose a bit more” sparked a major discussion.
“What you said isn’t cute,” one user replied. “No, she doesn’t ‘need’ to. If she’s satisfied with her current weight, then it wouldn’t be necessary,” another shot back. “Not everyone wants to look like skin and bones like Ariana,” a third chimed in, referring to singer Ariana Grande and concerns about her weight.
