Gymnast Olivia Dunne Receives Unwelcome Comments In See-Though Shirt
By Evie Scott on July 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM EDT

Olivia Dunne gained over 190,000 likes for her game photos on Instagram earlier this year, but her fans had to find something to complain about. In late April, the 22-year-old ditched her signature spandex for a more covered-up look, but with a sheer finish, she was upping the ante.
Striking a dramatic pose to kick off a gallery of photos while watching boyfriend Paul Skenes play baseball, Olivia showed off her gymnast figure in another stylish outfit, but her clothes weren't the issue for fans.
Users accused Olivia of turning everything into a giant photo deal on social media, with others making below-the-belt comments. The Sports Illustrated Swim Cover Girl is followed by over 5 million on Instagram.

Scroll for the photos. Smiling as she threw back her head and dramatically placed one hand near her forehead, Olivia went all "glam girl exhausted" as she injected some humor into her opening slide.
Teasing her curves in a clingy white top with long sleeves, the LSU graduate flashed a white bra beneath her semi-sheer shirt, and with a ruched, cropped finish, she was showcasing her abs. Olivia added faux leather pants in black, ones better showcased in a swipe right as she struck a cute pose from the stadium's seating area.

Olivia wore her hair tied back as well as a cute pair of small hoop earrings, completing her look with a blush-heavy face of makeup. The social media star also included her sushi meal, plus footage of her boyfriend playing. In a caption, she wrote: "7th inning stretch!" while tagging herself in L.A.

Over 150 fans have now liked a negative reply reading: "Why can't you just watch the game? Why do you need all the pics up there and goofy facial expressions and overused tongue out? Just enjoy the experience."
While fans tend to come to Olivia's defense amid the drama, and many did, the star herself swooped in. "Brb gonna cry now," she wrote, seemingly unbothered by the remark. Other unwelcome comments included NSFW replies.

In May, Olivia Dunne made headlines for her third feature with SI Swim. While she made her debut with the magazine back in 2023, it took until this year for her to land a Cover Girl status. Olivia has her cover pinned to the top of her Instagram feed, although she's also shared this swimsuit snap.
Posing from the ocean in Bermuda, she sizzled in a tiger-print bathing suit, sending out a sassy smile while in a baseball cap.
"Why do gymnastics when you look this good in a swimsuit, and it’s not as rough on the body," one fan replied.
