Shay noted that she laid eyes on Glanville's ex for the first time ever at a cigar lounge and restaurant in Beverly Hills in 2006. She detailed in her new memoir that Cibrian was the perfect description of what she desired in a man in terms of looks.

"The second we made eye contact, he smiled at me with those dimples, and I melted," Shay explained in the memoir, "My Good Side." Despite this initial attraction, Shay confessed that their relationship was not romantic initially. She described him as a gentleman who was very charismatic and equally sweet.

Shay added that while many patrons at the cigar lounge preferred to be left alone to enjoy their drinks and play poker, Eddie stood out by actively engaging in conversations with her.

All that time, the TV star noted that she was unaware of his marital status, and he did not wear a ring to make that known either. The affair also occurred before showing off relationships on social media became a thing.

According to Entertainment Weekly, a physical relationship soon began as 2006 wrapped up, involving several "weekly booty calls" at her house after poker at the lounge.

Things began falling apart between Shay and Cibrian when she got tipped off by one of the cigar lounge members that her partner was married. Shay found it very hard to believe the discovery because everything had been going smoothly between them.

"And, again, we were out together all the time in public, so I didn't feel like some secret mistress! Still, I was freaking out and had a massive pit in my stomach," the reality TV added.

She decided it would be best to hear the story from the horse's mouth, and Cibrian luckily asked why her energy felt off, so she asked him to check his phone for a text message she had sent. Shay recalled asking if anything belonged on his "ring finger."

In the memoir, Shay reportedly expressed her intention to avoid appearing aggressive or irrational with her question, particularly because she was unsure about the truth of the situation.

Cibrian eventually denied the question and asked why the reality star would ask such a question. "It was gaslighting in its most basic form. Yet, I trusted him, so we continued hanging out," Shay concluded.

After her episode with Cibrian ended, Bravo TV shared that Shay moved on with Mike Shay, and they tied the knot in July 2014. Shay and her ex stayed together till 2016 when they announced their divorce.

Shortly after the divorce, she began a relationship with Rob Valletta, a love story they both described as a reunion after a previous relationship. Things did not last long between them as they broke up in the fall of 2017.

Valletta opened up about the demise of their relationship five years later on Shay's podcast, "Shenanigans with Scheana Shay." According to him:

"I just didn't do the work. You're dealing with someone who was immature emotionally, immature communication-wise, immature as a man. I can't look back and change anything, I can just move forward and say, 'OK, hey, like, expect better."

The podcaster was also linked to "The Bachelorette's" Robby Hayes, a rumor she addressed, noting that they were neighbors who enjoyed making out with each other.

Shay gave marriage another shot with Brock Davis in 2022. The "Vanderpump Rules" star welcomed a daughter with the personal trainer in 2021, after which they got engaged.

The 52-year-old did not take the news of her then-husband's affair with Shay well when the news broke up as seen on Entertainment Now

The TV personalities exchanged a few back-and-forth comments on social media over the issue, and in 2019, Glanville addressed the matter on the "RHOBH" After Show.

Glanville disclosed that she still suffered post-traumatic stress disorder from the realization that Shay and Cibrian had an affair during their marriage. "But I sat down with Scheana, and it was hard. When I found out about her, she saved me because I left him," Glanville stressed.

It has been over a decade since their divorce from their eight-year marriage, which produced two sons, Mason and Jake. As shared by PEOPLE last year, Glanville addressed the part where she and their kids spent the holidays at Cibrian's house.

Glanville clarified that her cordiality with her ex-husband and his wife, LeAnn Rimes, stems from her care for her children and the need to provide them with a stable life.

"I mean, you guys don't understand the love I have for these children. Like, I would take a bullet for them," the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star stressed.

She noted that she would rather spend the holidays with her kids and her former in-laws, whom she adores and loves. The star gushed about navigating the challenges of divorce with Cibrian, with the kids' welfare serving as her motivating factor.

"I can step in there and not give a f-ck as long as everyone's happy and everyone's in one place, and the kids are happy, and we're having a good time, and the food is good," Glanville concluded.

That must have been a harrowing time for Sheana Shay and Brandi Glanville.
