Diddy's exodus from jail might just be here!
The rapper has now been given a specific time for his bail hearing, following the verdicts of guilty and not guilty. If things go the way he wants, he might see his home for the first time in months tonight.
Diddy finally gets a verdict after spending months in jail and over six weeks in trial before a jury. The jury found the rapper guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Diddy Signs $1 Million Bond Ahead Of Bail Hearing

The judge finally caved in to the rapper's lawyer's request that he be given a chance to serve his sentence in the comfort of his own home. It is now likely that Diddy gets home after the clock hits 5 p.m. today.
The defense team proposed a few terms that the rapper is willing to abide by should the judge agree to grant him bail.
The conditions provided by Diddy's attorney include a $1 million bond, co-signed by Diddy, his mother, sister, and the mother of his oldest daughter; travel restrictions to parts of Florida, California, New York, and New Jersey; and a surrender of the mogul's passport.
The embattled rapper is also required to submit himself for drug testing by pretrial services and all other standard conditions of pretrial supervision. The letter from his attorney also noted that, since he would likely receive a lighter sentence, it is only right that he be released with certain conditions.
"Mr. Combs has already been incarcerated for 10 months. His sentencing exposure — which we fully respect and do not seek to minimize in any way — is, in fact, low, and so is any corresponding risk of flight, his defense team added, according to CNN.
Cassie Ventura's Camp Raises Concern Over The Rapper's Potential Release

The singer's attorney, Doug Wigdor, did not mince words in advising Judge Arun Subramanian about the motion made by Diddy's legal team to secure his release. Wigdor expressed that his client believes that Diddy poses a likely danger to victims who testified in the case, herself included.
A friend of the performer and a celebrity hairstylist, Deonte Nash, also expressed her concerns in a note attached to the prosecutor's letter, requesting that Diddy be denied bail.
She recalled being an eyewitness on several occasions where Diddy had threatened Ventura or promised to release provocative tapes of her.
"While I appreciate the fairness you have shown throughout this proceeding, I feel compelled to be unequivocal about the danger he poses to the public and to the individuals who have risked everything by coming forward," Nash began.
She reminded the judge that the rapper has an extensive history of "violent, coercive and retaliatory" behavior. She added that he had somehow managed to escape accountability for his actions all these years, with each attempt to hold him accountable emboldening his terrible ways.
She argued that if he is allowed to leave jail at this moment, he might seize the opportunity to intimidate and possibly harm people who "challenge or expose him."
The Following Factors May Play A Big Role In Diddy’s Likely Release

While speculation continues to grow concerning the rapper’s release, The Blast reported that a legal expert, Elie Honig, agrees Diddy may be home with his family by the end of the day.
According to Honig, if the rapper were allowed to go home, it would not be a shock, as he had spent almost a year in prison and was acquitted of the most serious charges on the list.
The expert added that even an unknown New York with no level of fame like Diddy’s who has been found guilty of non-forcible interstate prostitution, would get released without much consequences.
Honig predicts a likely outcome of a “time served” sentence for the record label executive. Another legal analyst, Misty Marris, predicted Diddy’s exact verdict last week, noting that the prosecution had made a strong case for the two counts of interstate prostitution.

Shortly after the verdict was delivered, a group of Diddy’s supporters camped outside the federal courthouse in Manhattan to stage a quick, yet controversial celebration.
The Blast gathered that shouts, cries of joy, and confusion filled the air as the group whipped out bottles of baby oil and proceeded to pour it on each other’s bodies in a celebratory mood.
The group reportedly saw it as a symbolic and ritualistic way to honor the rapper’s victory. The actions of this group did not go unnoticed on social media as spectators voiced their opinions.
A group of commenters noted that the celebration had a cult-like vibe, adding that the way people were eager to cheer for his acquittal was too bizarre to comprehend.
Rosie O'Donnell Slammed The Jury For Diddy's Verdict

The actress and talk show host has been one of the loudest voices rooting for Diddy to be put away for good since his indictment. Now that the verdict is in, O'Donnell did not fail to voice out her disappointment in the jury members in an Instagram post. The comedian's caption read:
"I guess a jury just never wants to believe that a woman stays because of power and coercion- wow - they just think women stay because what? money - fame - "they love the abuse" - what a f-cking joke - this decision got me angry."
Her followers echoed the same feeling in the comment sections as one declared that they felt "brokenhearted for the brave survivors" who shared their stories during the trial.
Another commenter expressed fear over the future of more abuse cases, which might see female victims becoming reluctant to testify due to a lack of assurance of justice.
"There is no justice. My heart goes out to all those brave and courageous women who spoke out and testified against this monster," a third fan added.
The big question remains: Will Diddy see his home today?
