Justin Hartley Marries In Secret? Here's The DL On New Wifey Sofia Pernas

Justin Hartley, the 44-year-old "This Is Us" star just got married in secret to his ex co-star from "The Young and the Restless", 31-year-old Sofia Pernas.

While neither of the two actors has confirmed or denied the rumors, they were spotted on the red carpet at the 2021 MTV Movie and TV awards wearing rings.

Of course, rumors of the marriage had been floating since early May when the two were spotted frolicking at a beach with rings on "that" finger. But now, it may be official.

So here's more about the "marriage" and the "new wife" Sofia Pernas...

If the marriage did happen, it would be Hartley's third. He was previously married to his "Passions" co-star Lindsay Korman from 2004 to 2012 and they share the custody of their daughter amicably.

In 2014 he started dating Chrishell Stause, a real estate agent and reality TV star, and they got married in 2017. But by 2019 the romance turned sour and Stause filed for divorce, which was granted in February 2021. 

And now it seemed Hartley has married again. Will he be third time lucky with the gorgeous Pernas? 

For her, it's the very first marriage...

Sofia Pernas is from Morocco, having being born in Fes to a Moroccan mother and a Spanish father, both of whom are multilinguists. They moved to California when she was five, and Pernas herself speaks four languages: English, Spanish, German and Arabic. 

Meanwhile, Justin Hartley is an Illinois boy and as American, as you can get. 

The two were cast in the same soap opera, "The Young and the Restless." Hartley was on the show from 2014 to 2016 playing Adam Newman while Pernas was cast as Marisa Sierras, who was dating Newman's nephew at the time.

After dating rumors began to swirl around the two in 2020, the couple made their relationship Instagram official on New Year's Eve, each putting up an Instagram photo wishing everyone a happy 2021. 

And now, it seems a whirlwind marriage happened.

While Justin Hartley has played Kevin Pearson on "This Is Us" since 2016, he was also seen in the 2020 movie "The Hunt" where he plays a trucker named Shane. 

Pernas appeared as a regular in CW's "Jane The Virgin" and now is Lexi Vaziri, master in the SBS action-adventure "Blood & Treasure".

Since both Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas are actors, there's that common bond, but is that enough to hold a marriage? 

Fans of Pernas were less than impressed with the news, one writing, "Is he gonna dump her over text too?" That's a reference to his alleged breakup with Strause. 

For now, they appear to be wed. She likes to cook, play video games and tennis, and loves to read. He loves to garden, go on adventures, and play with animals. 

Hopefully, they can find something to do together, other than the dirty, that is...
