Kim Kardashian today took under an hour to spark a heated discussion as flawless bikini shots of the 40-year-old marked her being "stranded" in the ocean. The makeup mogul's Monday Instagram update came from her current tropical island vacation, where idyllic lapping waters and semi-cloudy skies formed the perfect backdrop as Kim stunned her fans while wading towards the camera. Talk in the comments has now honed in on a remark left by the E! star's former assistant, Stephanie Shepherd. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photos. Kim, fresh from seeing her vegan tacos video go viral, hadn't indicated where in the world she is, but she was definitely showing off the perks of her $1 billion bank balance. The KKW Beauty founder, this year confirmed as a billionaire by Forbes, was snapped wading through the sea in white and high-cut bikini bottoms, also wearing a zip-up and white stripe red crop top. All windwsept, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star looked flawless.

The mom of four, offering a side view of herself gazing out to sea in a swipe-right, took to her caption, amusingly writing: "Stranded." Quick to reply was Stephanie, still a Kardashian inner-circle member despite no longer being the SKIMS founder's assistant.

"You with no makeup," she wrote. While over 1,700 liked the comment, the replies didn't necessarily agree. "Lamo no makeup sure. You mean make makeup look try again," one fan replied. "You think KK goes outside without makeup on..," another asked. More photos below.

The user, adamant, asked if Kim takes pictures without makeup, adding: "Yeah, that doesn't happen." A close look at the photo does suggest the star to have been wearing lipstick and lip liner, possibly from best-selling KKW Beauty brand. The company, last year selling out 20% to Coty Inc., was already valued at $1 billion at the time of the acquisition. The latest sees 42-year-old sister Kourtney Kardashian making headlines for snacking on a burger in swimwear amid the news that she's now fully vegan. The Poosh founder has a wellness festival going on with her 2019-founded brand, one bringing Kim into the equation via a vegan tacos cooking video. Kim touted the benefits of Beyond Meat, which she used instead of beef, saying it tastes better than the real thing and has 30% less saturated fat. The video, below, has since gone viral.
