‘This Is Us’ Star Justin Hartley Fuels Marriage Rumors At ‘MTV Movie & TV Awards’

It was a shock when actor Justin Hartley filed for divorce from his ex-wife reality TV star Chrishell Stause. He shocked fans again when he stepped out with a new woman on his arm almost immediately after the split. Now the actor is shocking fans once again by showing up to the MTV MOVIE & TV Awards this week with his new possible fiancée Sofia Pernas wearing wedding-like bands on their ring fingers. The couple was first spotted by PageSix on a beach in Malibu wearing rings on their left ring fingers.

The actors showed up to the red carpet holding hands and again sporting rings on their left ring fingers. Hartley, 44 has been divorced twice his first wife was fellow actor Lindsay Hartley who he starred in the soap opera Passions together. The actors looked o be wearing different bands from the ones they were wearing on their recent beach date. This time Pernas ring was a diamond band whereas last time it was a simple silver band. The change could have something to do with the fact that this is the first time the duo is stepping out as a couple.

Pernas and Hartley met on the set of The Young and the Restless where they both have starring roles. They have been linked since May of 2020 but officially announced it on New Years' with a picture on Instagram. The timing may have something to do with the official announcement of his divorce from his ex-wife two weeks later. The divorce was allegedly bitter with the Selling Sunset star sharing that she found out about her divorce via a “cold” text message.

The couple married in 2017 and share no children together however, Harley has a child with his first ex-wife, Lindsay. Some of Stause’s divorce announcement and her life during play out on the Netflix real estate show Selling Sunset. The 39-year-old moved on to date Dancing With The Stars pro Keo Motsepe and Hartley moved on with Pernas. The terms of the couple’s divorce remains under wraps. According to PageSix, “Both parties entered into a confidential settlement as to terms of the divorce, including spousal support.”

So, unfortunately nosey fans will never get to know the full details, but they can surely get the deets on the exes’ latest relationships. Straus and Motsepe recently broke up after about a year of dating and it seems like she is taking some time out to focus on herself. As for Hartley, only time will tell where their relationship goes but with the way they are trying out different types of rings, fans are assuming that a marriage is in the future for the couple.
