Diddy is yet to get a verdict on a crucial charge.

The rapper is reportedly waiting for the jury to decide on one final charge from his list of five, after four have received verdicts.

Diddy’s legal team tendered their closing arguments yesterday, where his defense team insisted that the charges against him were weak and without convincing evidence.

As it stands, the jury in Diddy’s case affirmed that they have verdicts ready for four out of the five charges against him. With this information, the rapper was reportedly brought out of custody to prepare him for the final readings.

However, a decision has not yet been made on the rapper’s racketeering conspiracy charge. The note sent by the jurors explained that Count 1, the outstanding count, did not receive a unanimous verdict.

Presiding Judge Arun Subramanian is reportedly awaiting proposals from prosecutors and the defense on the way forward. They could either send the jury back for further deliberations to reach a verdict or allow a partial verdict, which would allow them to convict on the racketeering charge.

TMZ noted that both sides of the jury have reportedly expressed their desire to stick with the former.

A different drama had previously erupted in the case, which was a report that one of the jurors refused to follow the judge’s instructions.

As reported by The Blast, the jury member, identified as a Hispanic man with a PhD in molecular biology and neuroscience, sought to deviate from the instructions given by Subramanian.

A note was promptly sent to the judge on the development, but Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, intervened in the situation. He urged Subramanian to inform the jurors that their concerns had come too early in the deliberations.

Prosecutors also advised that the jurors be warned to remain discreet about details of their discussion in the case. Subramanian concluded the phase by reminding the jury of their original assignment and reiterating that his instructions should be adhered to.

The judge prepared the jury for the task at hand by explicitly instructing them on the areas of focus and details surrounding the racketeering charge.

Subramanian emphasized that a guilty verdict is accepted if the jury can determine that Diddy and any of his alleged conspirators agree to commit at least two of the crimes.

They are as follows: Sex trafficking, witness tampering, bribery, arson, forced labor, transportation to engage in prostitution, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, and kidnapping.

The judge added that the guilty verdict will stand if two of the crimes were committed within 10 years of each other. Subramanian also instructed the jury to appoint a lead to help coordinate their discussions and ensure the deliberations produce a fruitful result.

One of the rapper's sons, Justin Combs, got dragged alongside his dad in a fresh civil lawsuit accusing them of setting her up for assault by three unidentified men in 2017. The accuser claimed Justin invited her to Los Angeles under the guise of getting her a job after a conversation on Snapchat.

The Blast reported that the woman noted that Justin promised to get "her a position with Remote TV in Atlanta through his and his father's connections," back in 2017. This prompted her trip from New Orleans to Los Angeles.

Upon her arrival, she spent a day at Justin's residence in Beverly Hills, and they indulged in several activities involving drinking and smoking marijuana. The accuser was, however, convinced Justin added another substance to the things she took due to her reaction afterwards.

After she reportedly consumed the pills Justin gave her, three masked men entered the premises and took turns sexually abusing her, both "anally and orally."

She identified the third assaulter as Diddy based on his physical build and Justin calling him "Pops." The woman added that the promised job never happened, and she suffered severe distress from the unfortunate encounter.

The pending lawsuit is not Justin's first encounter with the law. In June 2023, the 31-year-old was arrested for a minor traffic offense during which cops claimed there was enough probable cause to book him for driving while intoxicated.

Although he was quickly released on a $5,000 bond, the rapper's son eventually pled no contest to driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or higher.

He was then sentenced to three years of summary probation and was ordered to participate in a "3-month licensed first-offender alcohol and other drug education and counseling program."

Justin's arrest sparked a reaction from his mother, Misa Hylton, who condemned Diddy for allegedly aiding and abetting his son's terrible ways. "The truth shall set you free. I should have kept my child with me. Everybody can get it," Misa noted in her critique of Diddy's chaotic parenting technique.
