Miley Cyrus All Smiles In Self-Care Shower Selfie

Miley Cyrus is sending out her world-famous grin straight from the shower as she practices a little self-care. The 28-year-old singer, who managed to make her weekend Instagram story a bit of a joke, wrote: "Cleaning up my act," with a giant "NOT!" following it as she snapped herself scrubbing up, with fans seeing the former "Hannah Montana" star all squeaky-clean and with a nourishing skincare product applied. Miley, who last year admitted she only washed her hair twice in four months during COVID, is clearly making up for it. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo. Miley, whose signature scruffy look has been making headlines since 2020-released "Plastic Hearts" album ushered in the blonde's punk rock era, has sparked hygiene comments from trolls, but she was seemingly out to clap back at them with a little humor.

The "Prisoner" hit-maker, all smiles, shared a close-up Instagram selfie from her shower, with the photo showing a steamed-up glass panel and Miley's face in front of it as she enjoyed a caring white face mask.

Miley, whose now-longer hair was wet and worn down, kept inside Instagram's rules, showing off a chunky silver necklace and sending out the peace sign. "Cleaning up my act" was met with a joking "NOT!" as the singer made clear references to her racy reputation.

The post follows a likewise toned-down one as the star took to Instagram to mark mom Tish Cyrus' recent birthday. "Happy birthday to an icon! Living legend @tishcyrus," Miley had written. See the shower photo and more below!

In June 2020, Miley opened up with honesty and humor as she addressed not having washed her hair much during the global pandemic. Speaking to Variety, the star said: "In the past four months I think I’ve washed my hair twice. Once for you and once for Sir Elton John."

"I put on a white button-down twice in my entire life. Once for this and once for when I interviewed Senator Elizabeth Warren," Miley added. The chart-topper has since shouted out a major celebrity with yet more joking. See it below.

Seven days ago, and gaining over 2.5 million likes for sharing, Miley uploaded a side-by-side photo showing her masked and in selfie mode from a private jet, with 23-year-old makeup mogul Kylie Jenner seen posing in her one on the right. Both images showed mood lighting and the stars seemingly enjoying luxury travel, with Miley writing: "Miley Air or Kylie Air?"
