While O'Donnell's tirade gained significant attention, the wedding itself has faced a broader wave of criticism.

Locals in Venice protested the disruption caused by the high-profile event, and there were calls to question the ethics behind holding such an extravagant celebration in a historic city.

The wedding also drew the ire of actress Charlize Theron, who commented on the guest list during a speech at the Block Party charity event on Saturday.

Theron quipped, "I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. But that's OK because they suck and we're cool." She quickly shifted the conversation to politics, taking aim at Trump-era policies regarding immigration, abortion, and LGBT rights.

Olivia Munn Takes A Subtle Jab At Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sánchez Following Their $50M Wedding

Olivia Munn also didn't shy away from making a pointed comment following the over-the-top $50 million wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez.

The actress, who previously made headlines in April for criticizing Sánchez's Blue Origin space flight, seemed to subtly shade the newlyweds after their lavish nuptials in Venice, Italy.

The day after the star-studded wedding, Munn reacted to an Instagram post from Mia Farrow, who praised Bezos' ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, for her charitable efforts. Farrow's post highlighted Scott's impressive donations, noting that as of December 2024, she had contributed $19.3 billion to over 1,600 charitable organizations.

Farrow's post read, "How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! (Jeff Bezos' first wife & mother of his 4 children)."

Munn, known for her sharp wit, commented, "Truly incredible," in a response that appeared to support Scott's philanthropic efforts while making a subtle jab at Bezos' extravagant wedding celebration.

The fallout from Bezos and Sanchez's extravagant wedding continues to unfold, with critics condemning both the excess of the event and the broader implications of wealth inequality.
