After the series of drama that has surrounded the royals for years now, it seems like it’s only the beginning for the royal household and fans at large.

Recent events in the royal household, especially the sad passing of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip has put an emotional strain on members of the royals.

Now, Buckingham Palace released a statement disclosing that a royal aide, Jason Knauf, who accused Meghan Markle of bullying her staffers, has resigned. He acted as the CEO of the Cambridge’s Foundation. 

The question on everyone’s mind now is; why did Knauf step down?

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex is the wife of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

She was born August 4, 1981, and the 39-year-old who recently became a member of the British household was born and raised an American in Los Angeles California.

Prior to becoming a royal, she pursued a career in the movie industry and was a successful actress.

She also elevated her status in the fashion world and was more recognized by the public for her incredible fashion styles and trends that seemed to cut off from the royal dressing standard.

When it comes to royal business, there are a lot of controversies and speculations that may come off as the truth, and sometimes not.

People often reveal their likeness or dislike for people in the spotlight, which is practically normal, and Markle has not been immune to this since she became the wife of a royal member. 

A few months ago, a royal aide, Knauf, pointed fingers at the Duchess, calling her a bully.  He went on to allege that in 2020 before she and her husband left the palace, she used to bully her staffers.

But is this related to the Knauf’s recent step-down? Who knows. 

Jason Knauf is a former CEO, born in Hunstville, Texas. At a young age, his parents moved to Conroe, Texas, then finally relocated to Virginia.

He became a popular figure among the royals fans in March 2021, after he and some other staff members, made a complaint about Markle while she was still living in London.

According to some sources, the Duchess reportedly drove the royal aides to the point of breakdown and tears. It was also alleged that she got rid of some of her staff in the palace.

Although there was no proof to back up these claims, Markle defended herself amid the accusations.

While royal fans believed that Knauf’s accusation led to his stepping down, Buckingham palace cleared that notion in a statement. 

It was revealed that Knauf’s absence from the foundation was in accordance with a “planned relocation.” Also, since he stepped down, the former CEO has shown nothing but satisfaction with the situation, and he expressed that in a statement released on Wednesday, May 13, 2021.

Similarly, Prince William and Kate Middleton also expressed sincere gratitude to Knauf for his years of service and wished him the very best.
