It’s Halle Berry’s way or the highway!
The legendary actress shared a romantic photo of herself planting a big wet on her boyfriend Van Hunt on Saturday, May 15. She posed in a skimpy pair of floral bikini bottoms and a white graphic t-shirt. Hunt was dressed more casually in sweatpants and a gray hoodie as he wrapped his arm around her. Halle let her fans know that things have to happen exactly how she plans.
“we do this thing called whatever the f*ck we want ! ?” she wrote alongside the romantic photo.
Halle’s famous friends were all about showing love in the comments section of her lovely pic. “Keep doing it!! ❤️❤️” Garcelle Beauvais wrote, while Janelle Monae left ?❤️ emojis.
Gabby Union commented, “Yessssss ??,” and Ayesha Curry said, “No wait !!!!! I’m obsessed ???????.”
The star’s cheeky photo and aggressive caption came after she said that it’s “fun” to share her life on social media but condemned all the negativity typically found on the platforms. Keep scrolling to find out what she likes and dislikes about Instagram.
Berry opened up during an interview with Essence Magazine and said that she’s just having a good time.
“I love that it’s so fun. I think that’s the part of it that I try to lean into and not to take myself seriously. To try and stay a part of what’s happening but still be age appropriate, she told Essence last week.
“Not try to do the things my daughter’s doing at 13, but try to stay up with what’s happening and stay connected with my children,” she continued. “It’s their world and it’s what they’re growing up in. I have to know what’s happening and understand it.”
Berry went on to describe how social media lets her control her own narrative. “The story that was perpetuated about me just wasn’t true but it was editorialized by people and it was out of my control,” she told the publication. However, she said there are some not-so-pleasant parts of the process.
“The thing I hate, and this will never stop, I know because it’s the nature of the world, but I really hate the negativity that gets on there. I just really want to like, slap these trolls because it really is damaging to people,” Berry said.
