Bethenny Frankel Says Her Show Is Nothing Like 'The Apprentice'

Bethenny Frankel made a recent comeback to her reality TV career and fans are excited to see her not only do what she loves, but what she has always done incredibly. 

The star now owns a personal series via HBO Max titled "The Big Shot with Bethenny." As a former "RHONY" cast, Frankel is well equipped to take on this amazing project and fans can only wait to see her do well.

However, there have been some voiced concerns on social media, that this show is similar in nature to another NBC series titled "The Apprentice."

Frankel learned most of what she knows about reality TV from her time as an housewife cast on "The Real Housewives of New York City." And while she has years of experience in this field, the star is ready to bow everyone away with her new project. 

Currently, she's in search of a new VP to handle the daily operations of her brand known as "SkinnyGirl," and when that happens, she'll move on to other great plans. 

She has also indicated an interest in taking a suitable contestant from the show, to handle the above position.

It's often inevitable for TV shows and series to be compared to one another, and in some case, for the sole aim of knowing which is better according to several laid out statistics. 

However, sometimes, these comparisons may not go down well with the people it centers around, and that's why Frankel wants everyone to back off from it. 

Speaking to Interview Magazineabout her ordeal, the reality star maintained that she was annoyed by the constant comparisons, because her show is very different from "The Apprentice."

In a sort of apologetic way, Frankel told the news outlet that she could not understand why she got so caught up with the comparisons and had an issue with it in the long run. 

She went on to say that not only was her ego at play, she also didn't want to be compared to anything else, which may have affected her judgment at the time. 

Understandably, she was being protective of her show, and did not want its success to be measured by another show's success.

According to 50-year-old, there are several obvious differences between both shows, and she made these known during the discussion. 

In her first point, she indicated that everything about her show, is borne out of originality, unlike "The Apprentice."

She also went on to say that her products and business is real, whereas, in the other show, there were affiliations with publishing houses, Airlines and all sorts. 

Frankel finally noted that she's proud of her show, and though business competitions have not had much success rate recently, she's certain that hers would triumph.
