A bodyguard, who once worked with Sean "Diddy" Combs, has revealed plans to flee the U.S. after the rapper's sex crime trial.
The individual, named Big Homie CC, claimed that there were "some adequate and imminent threats" to him following his criticism of his former employer since his arrest.
Big Homie CC also claimed that he is "gonna be target No.1" if Sean "Diddy" Combs is found not guilty of the charges against him.
Diddy's Former Bodyguard Claims There Are 'Some Adequate And Imminent Threats' To Him

As Diddy's sex crime trial nears its long-awaited conclusion, one of his former bodyguards, Big Homie CC, has announced plans to leave the country.
The celebrity bodyguard appeared on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" on Friday, where he suggested that he had received threats after speaking up against Diddy amid the rapper's legal woes.
"Due to the situation, the circumstances, I decided that it's probably best for me to live outside of the States at this point … indefinitely, absolutely," Big Homie CC told host Piers Morgan, per US Weekly. "There are some adequate and imminent threats to me."
Speaking further about his decision, Big Homie CC stressed that Diddy could be found not guilty of the sex crime charges against him and would waste no time targeting him once he is a free man.
"He could be out next week," Big Homie CC said. "I know if he walks, you know, I'm gonna be target No. 1, which is fine. I'm used to that, you know, it's kind of exciting for me. … In my profession, you know, it's what we live for."
The Celebrity Bodyguard Believes Diddy Won't Get Life Sentence

Elsewhere in the interview, Big Homie CC seemingly revealed why he was taking the threats seriously, as he listed some of the dangerous encounters he had found himself in while working as a bodyguard.
"You know, I've been shot, I've been stabbed, I've been poisoned, I've been you name it," he said. "Yeah, people have tried to kill me before, several times."
However, despite his concerns about Diddy, Big Homie CC said he doesn't think his former boss will receive a long sentence.
"He may be found guilty on some lesser charges," he said. "He might get four or five years, something like that. I don't really see him getting a life sentence."
A life sentence for Diddy would require the rapper to be found guilty of the racketeering charge. Meanwhile, he could face up to 15 years if convicted of sex trafficking and a maximum of 10 years for transporting to engage in prostitution.
Diddy's Lawyer Claimed The Rapper's Relationship With Cassie Was A 'Great Modern Love Story'

During closing arguments, Diddy's legal team made one more attempt to convince the jurors that the rapper's relationship with his ex, Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura, was not the overly violent romance the prosecutors had made it out to be.
"It was a great modern love story," defense attorney Marc Agnifilo told jurors, per E! News. "It's complicated, but they are truly in love with each other, and that is what defines their relationship. It is based on love."
Earlier in the trial, Cassie had testified against the rapper, detailing the physical and emotional abuse she allegedly suffered in the relationship. A video of her being physically assaulted by Diddy in 2016 at a hotel was also submitted as evidence.
Still, Agnifilo tried to persuade the jurors that none of this evidence made Cassie a victim.
"Anyone telling you Cassie is the victim, [that] she didn't see what was coming," he said, "She matched him, she was like him, she was at a certain level."
Diddy's Lawyer Challenges Claim He Used Housing To Pressure Accuser Into Drug-Fueled Romps

Elsewhere in the closing argument, Agnifilo also attempted to poke holes in the prosecution's claim that Diddy pressured one of the witnesses, Jane, into his drug-fueled encounters by paying for her home.
The attorney argued that the rapper only did so as a "good deed" to help his accuser, who was living in a "crappy apartment" after being abandoned by her child's father, per BBC.
He also claimed that the accuser was drawn to Diddy's wealth and fame, adding it was her choice to participate in the hedonistic meetups.
As for the male escorts involved, Agnifilo stated they were paid "for their time," and there was no evidence of any "negotiation" for money in exchange for sexual acts.
The Rapper Decided Not To Testify In His Trial

Diddy's trial, which has been ongoing for more than six weeks, is nearing its conclusion. With closing arguments done, Jury deliberations are set to begin on Monday, June 30.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, June 24, Diddy, 55, stood in court and took a moment to thank Judge Arun Subramanian for his work during the trial.
"I wanted to tell you thank you," he said, per Us Weekly. "You're doing an awesome job."
During the same hearing, the disgraced mogul confirmed that he had thoroughly discussed his choice not to testify with his lawyers.
"That is my decision, your honor," he told the judge. "That is solely my decision."
