Emily Ratajkowski's fans didn't take too kindly to her political mentions as she lounged around on her bed ahead of the weekend. Posting on Instagram last week, the 34-year-old flaunted her supermodel figure in a leggy minidress, showing off her NYC home while displaying her figure. Emily, who recently celebrated her birthday, shouted out socialism in her post, something her followers didn't take too kindly to. While the post earned the Inamorata founder compliments, the majority of the most-liked replies threw her shade. Numbers of likes were disabled, however a celebrity like did come in from model Lori Harvey.

Flashing hints of her braless cleavage while placing her arms around her midriff, the catwalk queen rested her head on a pillow, sending the camera a neutral gaze. Fans got messy bedroom vibes as Emily relaxed solo, but the comments were anything but chill.

In her caption, Emily wrote: "(democratic) socialist summer."

Over 1,800 fans agreed when a user replied: "When you mix zero knowledge with 100% confidence.." Meanwhile, over 700 fans liked a reply reading: "Imagine being wealthy from capitalistic means and then advocating for socialism. Make it make sense." Emily has a reported net worth of $8 million, although reported figures on the internet vary. The London-born star wasn't raised broke, but she has revealed having needed to work in her teens.

"Everything you got is because of capitalism and marketing. In socialism you would have been cleaning hallways," a further fan remarked. Also popular with over 110 likes was the user saying: "Stop glamorizing socialism. You built your wealth in a capitalist society."

Emily does not appear to have responded to the backlash. The brunette is also known for being a staunch feminist, best outlined via her My Body book.

Emily Ratajkowski may have the above accusations to answer to, but one thing's for sure.
