Nicki Minaj Turns Heads In Her Pink Friday Looks As She Keeps Promoting Her Album 10-Year-Anniversary

Nicki Minajteased a new single that's expected to release on May 14. The announcement was made on Monday as she posted several new photos to her social media feeds with the caption "FRIDAY." At the same time, fans continue to celebrate her success as one of the greatest female rappers ever, following the 10-year anniversary of her "Pink Friday" album at the end of 2020. This is regarded as Nicki's best studio album to date.

Nicki has been known as a "Barbie" ever since turning into a star in 2009 and that transitioned into the release of the debut studio album, "Pink Friday." In late November of last year, Nicki fans took to social media to celebrate the project's success and how much of an impact it made on Nicki's career. Pink Friday debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and is certified 3x platinum in the United States.

When Nicki announced that new music would be coming earlier this week, she's posted multiple photos in pink outfits that fans have since been adoring. The first was in the initial announcement where she was seen wearing pink Crocs, an item that has since soared in demand. The other were photos posted to Instagram on Thursday where Nicki is seen topless and sporting a pink hat that says "Icon" on it. This is as she announced that she would appear on Instagram Live at 11 PM ET.

Fans have also been anxiously waiting for a new album from Nicki as it's been a very long time since her previous one. That was "Queen," in 2018. That project served as her fourth studio album and it did very well. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and was led by hits such as "Barbie Dreams" and "Chun-Li." It also went on to go platinum in the US. As of now, there are still no plans publicly made by Nicki yet to release a new album in 2021 but fans hope that changes soon.

For fans of Nicki, many believe that her best body of work is still "Pink Friday." This album contained hit after hit such as "Moment 4 Life" feat. Drake, "Did It On Em," "Fly" feat. Rihanna, and "Super Bass." This project also showed that Nicki isn't only a rapper, but is more than capable of creating pop hits that can dominate internationally. Over the last 10 years, she's also shown that she is here to stay and is one of this generation's greatest artists that they've seen.
