Back in 2018, Drake had an epic record on his hands with his “God’s Plan” single. In the music video, he was seen giving people money and showing a lot of love. He even gave a young lady a $50,000 scholarship which went towards her studies at the University of North Carolina. She has now been identified as Destiny James and is graduating in a few days, and Drake is showing his excitement for this huge accomplishment.
Destiny Is Receiving Her Master’s Degree

According to HotNewHipHop.com, Destiny is receiving her masters degree from UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health with a master’s degree in Public Health in Health Behavior. She spoke with The Shade Room about her upcoming graduation and in the comments section, Drake popped up and excitingly said “LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DES.” In this interview, Destiny explained why she is in her field and her passion for it as well.
Destiny Has Pursued Public Health For Five Years

“Public health has been a passion of mine since 2016 when my dad passed from stage 4 lung cancer,” Destiny explained to The Shade Room. “Obtaining this degree is something I will always be proud of! The obstacles I was able to overcome fueled my fire and I am so proud to say I am now a graduate of the #1 ranked public school for public health in the country.”
For Destiny and along with college graduates from 2020, 2021 is definitely special. 2020 in-person graduations were halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but normalcy has been returning to campuses nationwide.
Drake Has Been Giving Back Consistently

Drake’s gesture for Destiny in 2018 isn’t his only charitable work. Last week, he gave back in his home country of Canada as he had a scented candle giveaway for Mother’s Day. This was in partnership with Uber Eats in his home town of Toronto and Vancouver as well. Access was soon expanded to Postmates and the KNDL store in Toronto. For the Uber Eats orders, customers had to purchase $50 worth of food in order to be able to receive one of the candles.
Drake May Have Another Dominant Summer

In March, Drake released his “Scary Hours 2“ EP, which contained three of the hottest records of 2021. Those were “What’s Next,” “Wants And Needs” feat. Lil Baby, and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” feat. Rick Ross. All three set a record by debuting in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Now, the big question is if Drake will finally put out his “Certified Lover Boy” album this summer. In January, the release was delayed.
