Jamie Lynn is braving a hot topic right now and rocking shredded Daisy Dukes for the photos. The 30-year-old "Sweet Magnolias" actress and sister to pop princess Britney Spears today took a trip down memory lane on her Instagram. Posting for her 2.1 million followers, the former Nickelodeon star shared an image from three years ago, back when youngest daughter Ivey was under six months old. The "Zoey 101" alum was talking body-image, even bashing herself for focusing on the matter when there's so much else going on. See the reveal below.

Showing off her famous legs in shredded Daisy Dukes paired with tights, Jamie Lynn wore a graphic white tee, elegantly pairing her look with an oversized blazer in pink. Slip-on sneakers completed the edgy ensemble.

Definitely looking like sister Britney as she threw the camera a gaze, Jamie Lynn took to her caption, opening: "Am I the only one who comes across old pictures of themselves, and then starts comparing yourself to a past version of yourself??"

The actress then confirmed that Ivey was "about 4-5 months old" when the photos had been taken, stating she can still recall "being insecure about my post baby body at the time." Thoughts then sped to how the star feels about the photos looking at them in 2021.

Jamie Lynn said that she now feels she looks "better" in the throwbacks than she does right now. "Isn’t it awful, that in a world where there are so many WAYYY more important things happening, that I could even allow such a shallow thing to concern me??" she added.

Seemingly speaking for millions of other women, the blonde then wondered why we "do this to ourselves": "And who knows what I’ll say in 3 more years when I look back at myself right now?" See more photos below.

Saying "there's always tomorrow" as she hopes that "one day" everyone can love themselves at "every stage," the former teenage mother extended a little hope to her followers, although she did admit that "today isn't that day for me."
