The claim stemmed from April 2024, when a female extra on set in Atlanta filed a complaint, accusing the actor of making her uncomfortable with what she described as inappropriate staring and an unsettling comment.

Sony Pictures Television reportedly investigated the matter during the final stages of season 6's production. While Sony did not take further disciplinary action, insiders say he was given a firm warning and was encouraged to apologize.

TMZ reports that sources close to the situation say Kove cooperated fully and maintained his innocence throughout the process. Responding to the renewed attention, Kove told the press:

"This is so bizarre as it was in April of last year. If there were something to confess, I would be the first to say it. Sony did ask me about the alleged incident, and I was completely transparent. It wasn't true then, and it isn't true now."

These resurfaced allegations followed Kove's headline-making incident where he bit his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim on the arm at a fan convention, something he later apologized for.

The Blast highlighted that he addressed the biting incident with a public apology, calling the moment a mistake. "I deeply regret and apologize for my actions regarding the incident with Alicia," he wrote, calling her "a genuinely kind and wonderful person who didn't deserve to be put in this position."

While he said his behavior was meant to be playful, Kove admitted it went too far. "There is absolutely no excuse for my behavior," he continued. He wrapped up by taking accountability and promising it would not happen again. In his words:

The 78-year-old was removed from the Washington State fan convention following the biting incident. The incident escalated when an on-site officer noticed a clear bite mark on Hannah-Kim's arm that was already bruising.

Although he acknowledged his behavior and apologized to both Hannah-Kim and her husband in front of law enforcement, he was still escorted out of the venue.

Though no criminal charges were filed, Hannah-Kim requested an official police report to document the event. In footage from the scene, she told the officer that she wanted the incident documented to prevent anything similar from happening again. She stated:

"I would like it to go on his record between me and him so that he cannot ever do this to me again."

Before Kove's name resurfaced in headlines for on-set drama and a strange fan convention incident, the star was raking in serious cash from Netflix's "Cobra Kai," and the money sparked a quiet fight behind the scenes.

The Blast revealed in 2023 that Kove's earnings from the hit series became the center of a commission dispute involving multiple parties, who claimed credit for securing his lucrative contract.

Legal documents show that talent agent David Shapira argued he was entitled to 10% of Kove's earnings from "Cobra Kai" seasons 4 through 7.

Things escalated when Shapira alleged that he had helped guide Sony's negotiation strategy for Kove's deal. By the end of 2020, the actor had secured a $150,000 signing bonus and a $175,000 per-episode rate for future episodes.

Despite Shapira's claims, the labor commission ultimately ruled in favor of Kove and his current team, denying the agent's demand for commissions tied to the series.

The two tied the knot in 1981 and remained married for 24 years before divorcing in 2005. The former couple shares twin children, Jesse and Rachel Kove, who were born on November 2, 1990, and both followed in their parents' footsteps.

Jesse embraced the family legacy, appearing in films like "On Wings of Eagles" and even taking on a unique role in "Cobra Kai," where he portrayed a young villain who bullies the younger version of his own dad's iconic character, John Kreese.
