Lala Kent appeared on the May 10 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” where she opened up about her friendships with Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, both of whom were fired from “Vanderpump Rules” last June amid allegations of racist behavior.
“We’re all very close still. Just because they’re no longer on a show doesn’t mean they’re no longer in our lives. So I talk to them and see them often,” Kent explained.
Kent was most recently seen enjoying a playdate with Schroeder and their daughters, Ocean and Hartford.
Lala Kent Is Also Still In Touch With Brittany Cartwright
When Kent was then asked if she still speaks to Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor, Kent replied, “Yes, we spent Mother’s Day together.”
In addition to remaining in touch with her former “Vanderpump Rules” cast mates, Kent has also maintained a relationship with James Kennedy, who she feuded on and off with for several seasons of the show.
”We’re good. I love James. He’s still one of the most fun, talented people I know. He’s the funniest friendship I’ve ever had,” she gushed.
Lala Kent And James Kennedy Will Both Be Featured On ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season Nine
Speaking of the upcoming ninth season of “Vanderpump Rules,” Kent said she’s so excited to begin filming and sharing her life with viewers.
“I’m thrilled. I’m so excited. I love ‘Vanderpump Rules’ and it’s offered me so many… I mean, I got to write a book because of the opportunities that this show has brought to me. And those are my friends,” Kent noted. “You’re asking me to go hang out with my friends every day. And then it’s being filmed, which is not so good.”
Lala Kent Enjoys Being Financially Secure With Randall Emmett
During another segment of “Watch What Happens Live,” Kent reacted to a fan who wanted to know how Emmett felt when she said she’d rather be financially secure than have a healthy bedroom routine.
“Well Randall also I think would chose being financially secure. And I love how people think that I’m so reliant on him but at the end of the day, I do have a job and I do pay my own bills,” Kent explained, shutting down rumors of being financially dependent upon her fiancé.

“He’s provided a beautiful lifestyle for me, which is great. But with or without Randall, I will make sure I’m just fine because I would love to be financially secure forever, with or without a man,” Kent added to the fan.
Kent and her cast mates are expected to begin filming the upcoming ninth season of “Vanderpump Rules” sometime this month.
