So, James Norton. Not a very good guy, if you have watched Netflix‘s “McMafia”, and very, very bad guy if you just saw “Things Heard & Seen”, with Amanda Seyfried.
Of course in real life, the man rumored to be the next James Bond is pretty well known in Britain but the US is only getting to know him better now.
For now, Norton is best known for his roles in “Happy Valley” where he plays an ex-convict, rapist, and murderer Tommy Lee Royce, and “Grantchester”, where he played the first Anglican vicar.
But what else do we know about him?
The New Bond? Or A Pin-Up Guy

The rumors of being cast as the next James Bond are rife although James Norton has not commented about the surety of it. He did say, in an interview, that the rumors alone were empowering because he was often bullied when he was in school as the “ugly guy”.
In fact, he’s become quite the “pin-up guy”. Something he believes in not about him but rather about the perception him by people. Either way, he’s handsome and has a commanding personality, along with that British accent. What more do you need of a Bond?
But is he a nice guy, or a bad one?
Plays A Pansexual. Is Steady & Straight For Real

In the new series “The Nevers”, Norton plays Hugo Swann, a pansexual aristocrat who runs a club for people with such preferences and then also runs an extortion racket.
In real life, Norton is straight. He was first involved with his “War and Peace” co-star Jessie Buckley who plays his on-screen sister. They went steady from 2015 to 2017 but broke up, and reportedly, it was acrimonious. Since then, Norton is with Imogen Poots, and they made their relationship official by appearing together at the 2018 Cannes.
Is Type 1 Diabetic & Happy To (Over)Share

Norton is a Type 1 Diabetic and speaks openly about it, to inspire other people who have the same condition to live their live to the fullest.
He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2010, November and since then has become an ambassador for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and spreads the word on his social media too.
Recently, he posted a “thirst trap” called Lakeside Story where he another type 1 diabetic friend of his camp, and Norton simply did the full monty.
Wrote a fan, “This is an unacceptable but effective thirst trap. Thank you. I was parched.”
Here’s more of the story…
Does Not Take Himself Very Seriously

So he may be spoken about in hushed feminine whispers, being handsome, ripped and all that, but Norton does not let all this new-found adulation go to his head.
He simply keeps on doing the good, work, or should we say the bad work, considering most of his characters have definite shades of gray, if not outright black…
But here’s the fun and real James Norton. the guy who decides to exchange clothes with co-star Amanda Seyfried.
And one fan felt all her life’s ambitions were achieved, writing, “you.in a dress. that’s it. that’s all I ever hoped for. my work here on this earth is done.”
After you are done ogling James Norton in a dress, next, read about Jessie Mei Li.
